Invitation to participate in the “YZ BLU CRU Cup SuperFinale”
[What is BLU CRU?]
BLU CRU is a race support program for YZ series owners that Yamaha has been running in Japan since 2016. It provides a wide range of support to riders who want to race on a YZ, including racing services at race venues, test rides, and riding schools. Around the world, it also carries out training activities for young riders in both on-road and off-road categories, with the aim of producing riders who can compete on the world stage.

[SuperFinale Event Overview]
The event will be held from August 15th to 17th, 2025, in conjunction with the 16th round of the Motocross World Championship, the Swedish Grand Prix. Yamaha will invite one rider from Japan each to compete in the YZ125 class (13-16 years old) and the YZ85 class (11-14 years old). Selected riders will be provided with a rental bike, as well as race entry fees, travel expenses, accommodation expenses, and insurance costs. In addition, one coordinator will accompany the rider to handle local transportation, support at the venue, and interpretation.
[Application requirements and selection process]
To be eligible to apply, riders must be BLU CRU members and be between the ages of 11 and 16 as of August 15, 2025. In addition, they must hold a valid MFJ license (Motocross: International A Class, International B Class, Domestic A Class, Domestic B Class, Junior) for 2025. A recommendation from their team or an authorized dealer of Yamaha off-road competition models is required.
The application period is from April 23rd to May 16th, 2025. Applications can be made through a dedicated page on My YAMAHA Motor Web. Selection will be based on a comprehensive assessment of age, race results, the rider’s future potential, and ability, and the invited riders will be announced at the official Yamaha Motor and Yamaha Motor Sales X in mid-June 2025.
In principle, participation requires the participation of at least one parent or guardian, or at least one person authorized by the parent or guardian. In addition, the accompanying person or the rider must carry out any repairs or maintenance of the rental vehicle themselves.
