The inspiration for the snake is woven into this glacial landscape. The handlebar grips and seat are made of soft-textured leather that replicates snake scales, and the chrome-plated three-dimensional snake emblem on both the side ornament cover and the front fender completes the design, which combines strength, elegance, and originality.

The Vespa 946 Snake, the third in a series of limited-edition models inspired by the lunar calendar, is limited to a worldwide production run of 888 units. Vespa 946 Snake features a steel monocoque body and numerous aluminum components (wheels, handlebars, side panels, front mudguard, mirror supports, and seat support) handcrafted by skilled craftsmen to achieve a high level of quality. Featuring LED headlamps, LED taillights/indicators, and an LCD multifunction instrument panel, the vehicle combines Vespa tradition with technological functionality. Furthermore, it is equipped with 220mm disc brakes front and rear, dual-channel ABS, and the ASR electronic traction control system. Lightweight 12-inch two-piece aluminum alloy wheels enhance safety.

The Vespa Snake universe is further enriched with the addition of two key pieces: a long puffer coat and a bomber jacket, in addition to the Vespa Snake Capsule products previewed in October. The floor-length white puffer coat keeps you warm, while tone-on-tone snake outline detailing reinforces the collection’s theme. The bomber jacket has an iridescent sheen reminiscent of the icy hues of winter landscapes, and the contrast between the shiny fabric and embroidered graphic details gives it a strong, contemporary aesthetic.

Vespa is expanding into the global lifestyle space. This project will see the opening of a series of pop-up stores in select locations throughout the first quarter of 2025, showcasing the Vespa Snake capsule collection and limited-edition accessories.

This iconic Vespa lifestyle pop-up world tour will begin at Rome’s Rinascente Tritone, with the first stop in the new year at Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées in Paris from January 7 to February 5. Further locations will follow, including La Rinascente in Milan, Steffl in Vienna, Galeries Lafayette in Beijing, Vacco in Istanbul, EmQuartier in Bangkok, Paragon in Singapore, Trang Tien in Hanoi, and Plaza Indonesia in Jakarta.
