BMW began keeping statistics in July 2010, and 2024 saw a total of 5,986 units, a 2.5% increase over the previous year. 2024 was the year that the new GS models, the R1300GS and R1300GS Adventure, which are considered the backbone of the brand, were released, which is thought to have contributed to the increase in numbers. 2025 will be a year of interest as to what areas BMW will leverage to replace the king of crossovers.
