The global charity event “Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride,” which supports men’s health, will be held in Japan again this year. Participants are also being recruited for the special event “DGR 2025 TOKYO EAST RIDE,” which is targeted at the Tokyo metropolitan area.

Triumph Motorcycles Japan has announced that it will hold the “Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR),” a global charity event to support men’s health, across Japan on May 18, 2025. The company has also announced a special event, “DGR 2025 TOKYO EAST RIDE,” in the Tokyo metropolitan area. The event aims to raise awareness of and support men’s health issues together with riders from around the world, while enjoying classic bikes in fashionable attire.

About the “DGR 2025 TOKYO EAST RIDE”

“DGR 2025 TOKYO EAST RIDE” is a motorcycle event held in the crowded Tokyo metropolitan area, so unlike DGR, which is normally run by individual ride hosts in each area, it is a special event held and organized exclusively within Tokyo by Triumph Motorcycles Japan. Those wishing to participate must confirm that their desired area is “TOKYO EAST RIDE” before applying. Please note that applications for other areas will be accepted by different organizers.

The purpose of this event is to raise awareness of DGR’s charity activities, and participants must register in advance on the DGR official website (https://www.gentlemansride.com/) and make a donation.

Held at the Tokyo Olympic venue

The “DGR 2025 TOKYO EAST RIDE” will be held at a special venue set up at the Canoe Slalom Center (Kasai Rinkai Park), which will be the venue for the canoeing events at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. This event allows you to enjoy classic bikes in fashionable attire while viewing some of Tokyo’s most iconic landmarks. Classic bike enthusiasts can enjoy the event alone or with friends.

Important points about the parade run

Please note that this is a different format from last year.

  • The parade run will start in the order of the race assembly on the day.
  • Those returning from the parade run will be asked to park their vehicles in order from the back of the venue.
  • Please note that you can leave the venue up until 12:30, but you will not be able to leave until 15:00 as the afternoon session will be underway.
  • Please cooperate as all vehicles will be required to drive slowly within the venue.
  • Please note that the venue will close at 4:00 PM.
  • During the morning and afternoon parade runs, participants will not be forced to leave or return to the venue. Participants can participate at their own convenience.

Riders from all over the world will gather on the same day to participate in this special event, which aims to raise awareness and support men’s health issues. Many classic bike enthusiasts are expected to participate.
