Triumph TF 450-E… 1,296,000 yen (including 10% consumption tax)

Introducing a full-fledged enduro model packed with incredible performance and advanced technology.

Triumph’s long-awaited TF 250-E and TF 450-E are exceptionally competitive in both technical terrain and high-speed sections, and have been developed to deliver excellent performance in all situations, from racing to trail riding. The selling prices are 1,156,000 yen (including 10% consumption tax) for the TF 250-E and 1,296,000 yen (including 10% consumption tax) for the TF 450-E.

Both models are equipped with precision-engineered 250cc and 450cc powertrains that deliver best-in-class performance, striking an optimal balance between unparalleled low-speed agility and high-speed stability.

World champions participate in development

Developed in collaboration with five-time World Champion Ivan Cervantes and four-time World Enduro Champion Paul Edmondson, the TF 250-E and TF 450-E feature a unique lightweight aluminium chassis for agility and strength, while the new spine frame provides excellent handling and stability on any terrain.

Steve Sargent, Chief Product Officer of Triumph Motorcycles, said: “We are entering the highly competitive enduro scene with a new enduro model that introduces cutting edge technology in performance and technology. With an all-new chassis and engine platform, the enduro model is designed to deliver the best in performance, handling, comfort and ease of use, meeting the diverse needs of both professional and amateur riders.”

Precision and exceptional design for enduro

Triumph is committed to racing performance and has developed new 250cc and 450cc racing performance powertrains.

The TF 450-E’s 450cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine delivers power and torque with a linear power delivery, ensuring smooth acceleration in a variety of conditions, from technical climbs to high-speed straights. Designed to excel in high-speed enduro racing, it’s also ideal for experienced riders looking for power, speed, and versatility on open trails and hilly terrain.

The TF 250-E’s all-new 250cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine boasts powerful performance in its class, and stands out for its responsiveness and ease of use. It delivers a maximum power output of 42.3 PS and a maximum torque of 27.8 Nm, and its wide power curve and strong bottom-end torque make it ideal for low-speed technical sections, while still delivering power all the way to a top-end of 12,800 rpm.

Generous use of the latest technology

Both models feature a six-speed Exedy racing clutch, allowing for smooth, clutchless upshifts to help maintain momentum through tight, technical sections.

Additionally, an advanced fuel injection and ignition system efficiently manages power, delivering quick throttle response and reliable performance even on rugged terrain, and a custom 44mm throttle body from Dellorto offers manually adjustable idle with an air bypass system for cold starts.

Del West titanium valves and Konig forged aluminum pistons maintain consistent performance even during long, high-revving rides, significantly reducing maintenance intervals. The TF 450-E also features a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating on the piston pin and rocker arm for improved durability and reduced friction.

Triumph and Athena have combined their extensive off-road experience to create a powerful synergy, resulting in a new software strategy that focuses on ride performance and traction. The engine management systems of the TF250-E and TF450-E use fully custom-developed software, allowing the rider to switch between two engine maps at the touch of a button.

Advanced chassis and suspension

Both models use Triumph’s unique lightweight aluminium spine frame, optimising mass, stiffness and a low centre of gravity for superior agility, enhanced high-speed stability and sharp directional control. Digital fabrication techniques improve dimensional accuracy, and the frames are hand-welded by Triumph’s in-house TIG welders.

The suspension is provided by fully adjustable KYB coil-sprung 48mm forks and three-way adjustable linkage-driven rear suspension, which is specially tuned to ensure responsive control, excellent power transfer and maximum traction in tough conditions.

Versatile features for modern riders

The new TF 250-E and TF 450-E are equipped with an impressive premium specification and Triumph’s cutting-edge technology to optimise performance in all conditions, accessed using an intuitive handlebar-mounted controller, with a digital speedometer screen providing the rider with real-time data such as engine temperature, trip information and gear position.

An advanced traction control system monitors rear wheel slip and modulates power output to provide consistent grip on unpredictable surfaces, while optimised launch control manages torque delivery at the start to maximise traction for competitive launches.

The braking system comes standard with premium components, including a Galfer Performance brake system with 260mm brake discs at the front and 220mm brake discs at the rear, as well as twin Brembo 24mm piston floating front calipers and 26mm piston floating rear calipers, and span-adjustable brake levers.

Attention to ergonomics and styling

Designed for the demands of competitive racing and extended trail riding, the ergonomics of the TF 250-E and TF 450-E are engineered to maximize performance and rider comfort.

Pro Taper ACF Carbon Core handlebars with adjustable mounts allow riders to personalize fit and feel, adjusting the position between the handlebars, seat, and footpegs to minimize fatigue, enhance control during tight turns, and reduce rider strain during extended periods of standing.

The vehicle design is tough and purposeful as a race-ready enduro model, styled with sharp lines and an aggressive stance. It features aggressive and minimal bodywork, is lightweight and durable. The Triumph Performance yellow, black and white color scheme tightens the appearance.

Road legal yet race capable

The new Triumph Enduro range is road legal, with the ability to transform into a closed-course competition machine when required. For riders looking to unlock the full race potential of their TF 250-E or TF 450-E, Triumph’s global network of specialist Motocross & Enduro Centres can provide expert race preparation services to ensure the machine meets competition standards.

The network of authorised dealers, offering sales, service and parts, also stocks Triumph’s exclusive enduro clothing range, designed in partnership with Alpinestars.

In this way, Triumph’s new enduro model is packed with cutting-edge technology and features, and is a serious model that delivers excellent performance in all situations, from races to trails, meeting the expectations of enduro fans.
