On May 17, 2025, a fan event themed around the film “Top Gun Maverick,” called “TOP GUN NIGHT 4,” will be held at Cafe & Bar MAVERICK in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture. The event will feature an actual Kawasaki GPZ900R motorcycle exhibit, the same one ridden by Maverick, played by Tom Cruise, in the film, making it a must-see for fans.
The theme of this event is “Thank you ICEMAN, keep on running MAVERICK,” and it will also feature a memorial project for Val Kilmer, also known as “ICEMAN,” who passed away on April 1, 2025. Fans will be able to send messages of condolence at the venue and online, and there will be time for fans to share their thoughts.
There will also be a variety of content on offer, including a toast with the event’s exclusive original drink “Blue Lagoon,” original merchandise for sale, an autographed exhibit, and a quiz about the film. Participation is free, but you can order one drink and one food item.

A must-see for Kawasaki fans! 2025 KCBM event schedule announced

Kawasaki Motors Japan has announced the 2025 schedule for the fan-participation event “Kawasaki Coffee Break Meeting (KCBM),” which has been running since 1998. The event will be held at Geto Kogen Ski Resort in Kitakami City, Iwate Prefecture on Sunday, June 8th, at Kagura Ski Resort Mitsumata Station in Yuzawa Town, Niigata Prefecture on Sunday, October 12th, and at Lake Hamana Boat Racecourse in Kosai City, Shizuoka Prefecture on Sunday, November 30th. At each venue, participants can enjoy free coffee in their own cups. MotoGP rider Takaaki Nakagami appointed as Insta360 brand ambassador

Insta360 Japan Inc. announced that MotoGP rider Takaaki Nakagami has been appointed as a brand ambassador for Team Insta360. Kawasaki x Pickles the Frog, soothing collaboration goods to be released on June 1st

Kawasaki Motors Japan will begin selling collaboration products with the popular character “Pickles the Frog” at Kawasaki Plazas nationwide from June 1, 2025. The items feature a green-based design and are filled with the wish for the frog’s safe return. The lineup includes a bean doll (3,520 yen including tax) that sits approximately 16cm tall, a mascot with magnets in its limbs (1,760 yen including tax), rider jacket and racing suit costumes, fans (2,750 yen including tax), and T-shirts (5,720 yen including tax). The legendary motorcycle manga “BariBari Densetsu” releases a limited edition Zippo lighter (150 units)

FAITH Co., Ltd. will release a limited edition of 150 Zippo lighters based on the manga “BariBari Densetsu” (originally written by Shigeno Shuichi), which sparked a motorcycle boom in the 1980s. This product features a laser-engraved reproduction of a popular scene from the original, and a chrome-plated finish gives it a heavy, luxurious feel. The back is engraved with a famous scene featuring the protagonist, Komagun, and his best friend, Hideyoshi, and each lighter is serially numbered. The gunmetal body has a sophisticated design that appears black or silver depending on the angle, making it the perfect item for adult fans. Triumph to hold mid-size classic campaign on May 24th and 25th

Triumph Motorcycles Japan will be holding a “Mid-Size Classic Special Weekend Campaign” at authorized dealers nationwide for two days, May 24th (Sat) and 25th (Sun), 2025. The campaign is aimed at new 400cc single-engine “SPEED 400” (729,000 yen including tax) and “SCRAMBLER 400 X” (819,000 yen including tax), and customers who purchase a new bike during the campaign period will receive a purchase support of 50,000 yen (excluding tax). Blaze to offer electric mobility test drive experience at Tokyo Big Sight

Japan’s largest touring rally, “SSTR2025,” to be held from May 24th

The Japan Riders Forum (JRF) will host SSTR2025 (Sunrise Sunset Touring Rally), one of Japan’s largest touring rallies, from Saturday, May 24th to Sunday, June 1st, 2025. Riders from all over Japan will depart at sunrise and head to a special venue at the end of the Chirihama Nagisa Driveway in Hakui City, Ishikawa Prefecture. More than 12,500 vehicles are expected to participate. Various events are planned at the finish line throughout the event, including a special event on Sunday, June 1st. The dawn of a new era for Harley-Davidson, the first “FUEL” store in the Kanto region opens in Tsurumi, Yokohama

Harley-Davidson Yokohama Tsurumi held its grand opening on May 9th as the Kanto region’s first new-generation store, adopting the latest store design “FUEL.” It is the third store in Japan, following stores in Okinawa and Fukuoka, and the first completely newly built store in Japan. Boasting a total floor space of 1,200 m2, it sells the latest 2025 models, used motorcycles, and apparel, as well as offering customization and maintenance services.
