Aprilia RX 125… 498,300 yen / SX 125… 517,000 yen
On March 19, 2025, Piaggio Group Japan Co., Ltd. began accepting orders for Aprilia’s new models, the RX 125 and SX 125, at authorized Aprilia dealers nationwide.
The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is 498,300 yen (tax included) for the RX 125 and 517,000 yen (tax included) for the SX 125. The release date is March 19, 2025, and shipments are scheduled to begin around May 2025.
These models were developed for young, sporty riders who seek authenticity, and are rare full-size off-road models in the 250cc class, as well as their motard versions.
Full-size off-road and motard models in the 125cc class are now available with the latest equipment
The new RX 125 and SX 125 inherit Aprilia’s extensive off-road racing experience and combine it with the latest design and technology. The body panels have been completely redesigned to create a streamlined appearance that extends seamlessly from front to rear.
Additionally, the matte black exhaust silencer has been shortened to emphasize its lightness.The frame, engine, swingarm, wheels, and tapered aluminum handlebars are finished in high-quality gloss black, and a USB socket (sold separately) can be installed in the compartment under the seat.
Safety and practicality have also been improved with the adoption of a new full LED lighting system and color digital meter panel. The center of the meter screen features a beautiful rev counter with a scale that changes from white to red, and displays a variety of driving information, including gear position, two types of trip meters, top speed memory, average and current speed, driving time, average and instantaneous fuel consumption, etc.
Equipped with a water-cooled single-cylinder DOHC engine
The engine is a water-cooled single-cylinder DOHC 4-valve with a total displacement of 124.2cc, which meets the EURO 5+ regulations and produces a maximum output of 15 horsepower (11kW) at 10,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 11.5 Nm at 8,500 rpm.
The frame is a steel dual beam frame, and the suspension is equipped with a φ41mm inverted fork (wheel travel 240mm) and a progressive link mono shock (wheel travel 220mm).
The braking system is equipped with a Bosch ABS with an anti-rollover mode to prevent the rear wheel from lifting up during sudden braking. The RX 125 is equipped with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels with block tires, making it suitable for off-road riding. On the other hand, the SX 125 is equipped with 17-inch front and rear wheels with sporty road tires, allowing you to enjoy the supermotard style.

Both models are available in two color variations: “Cubozoa White,” which features a white body with purple graphics and red details, and “Varanus Black,” which represents Aprilia Racing’s traditional color scheme with a combination of black and red.
