Bike King & Company has announced its 51st Resale Price Ranking, covering the period from September to November 2024. Kawasaki’s Z900RS SE has taken the top spot for the first time.
Honda X-ADV comes in second

The rankings this time are as follows:
1st Place: Kawasaki Z900RS SE
2nd place: Honda X-ADX
3rd place: Kawasaki Eliminator
4th place: Kawasaki Eliminator SE
5th place: Honda Gold Wing Tour
6. Kawasaki ZX-4RR
7. Kawasaki ZX-4R SE
8th Place: Yamaha XSR900GP
9th place: Honda ADV160
10th place: Honda CB1300 Super Four SP
The Z900RS SE features a “Yellow Ball” color scheme reminiscent of the classic Z1, and is characterized by its high-quality design, including gold wheels and front forks.
Furthermore, it is equipped with a Brembo front brake caliper and an Ohlins rear suspension, providing excellent riding feel and control.
The deciding factor was the rarity of the “yellow ball”

The color of the 2025 model, released in September 2024, was changed, and the fact that the “yellow ball” color has become rare is thought to have influenced this ranking.
Honda’s X-ADV, which had held the top spot for two consecutive periods until the previous ranking, narrowly missed out and came in second place this time. Popular with users for its versatility, including touring and outdoor leisure activities, the model is in high demand both domestically and internationally. With the 2025 model released in December 2024, attention will be focused on its performance in the next ranking.
The XSR900GP also made the list.

Additionally, Yamaha’s XSR900 GP ABS made its debut at No. 8. This model features a design that pays homage to the 1980s racer replica YZR500, and was released in Japan in May 2024. It is attracting attention as a model that brings back memories for riders who remember that era, while offering a fresh perspective for younger riders.
This ranking shows that the used motorcycle market is booming. Kawasaki’s “Z900RS” series in particular has consistently enjoyed popularity and has earned high praise from veteran riders. Honda’s “Gold Wing Tour” also ranked highly, showing its growing presence in the touring scene.
High resale value means that new car sales are also strong, which leads to an understanding of the trends and realities of popular models. Value bikes change with the times, but it’s surprising that the Z900RS is still so popular.
