New possibilities in the electric kids’ bike market

NICOT, an import and sales agent for Motorist LLC, introduces premium motorcycles from around the world to the Japanese market. NICOT will unveil electric models such as the S3 and N3 at the Milan International Motorcycle Show (EICMA) in Italy in the fall of 2024, and is leading the way in the electric motorcycle field by developing new models.

One of the most important projects is the E-WOLF, an electric off-road model targeted at the junior market. It made its debut at the E-XPLORER World Championships in 2024 and has since attracted attention at events around the country as a powerful yet controllable machine.

After more than a year of promotion and specification improvements, the E-WOLF has been completed and is now on sale as a full lineup model aimed not only at kids but also at juniors and youth.

Solving the problems of existing kids’ bikes

Electric motorcycles for young people have dominated the market with low-priced, easy-to-buy models aimed at getting kids familiar with motorbikes from an early age and providing easy access. Motorist has gone a step further and is offering the TORROT (Spain) for kids.

However, these kids’ models are primarily targeted at elementary school age children, and the step up from there tends to be a sudden jump to a two-stroke racing motocross bike, which creates a big gap and doesn’t lead to a more advanced transition. Also, kids who grew up with electric bikes are suddenly faced with obstacles they have never experienced before, such as the noise, weight, complicated handling, and starting of an engine of an engine model.

The new motorcycle culture spreading in Europe and the United States

NICOT’s pride and joy, the E-WOLF, is not only popular with kids, but is also highly acclaimed for its powerful motor and motorcycle-grade suspension. In Europe and the US, it has become a favorite bike not only among kids but also among young parents, and it is becoming common for mothers, especially those riding a motorcycle for the first time, to be inspired by their children and buy one to play with.

However, parents soon find that the size is not enough, and as children improve, they begin to look for something a little bigger. With the addition of these three new models, the E-WOLF lineup now includes four models in addition to the existing standard model. While retaining the highly acclaimed basic design, we have prepared models that can be enjoyed for a longer period of time and are accessible to a wider range of age groups.

Test drive vehicles available, long-term rentals also under consideration

Motorist has already prepared these new E-WOLF models as test ride vehicles. The E-WOLF 17 will be carried around so that test rides can be made at events, and the company is also considering long-term loans to riders who would like to try out each model (conditions apply).

Motorist and other regional distributors have been actively involved in this upgrade and product improvement, improving the quality of the product. NICOT plans and improves products close to the end user, and as a customer-first manufacturer, it plans to continue to be deeply committed to the market.
