Paul Stroud (Triumph Chief Commercial Officer)
“In 2020, Triumph first launched the Trident 660, combining light triple-cylinder performance with character, sure-footed handling and British style. It embodies this balance at an unparalleled level, and has proven popular with riders of all ages and experience levels in motorcycle markets around the world. Since its launch, the Trident 660 has won multiple major awards and the addition of new technology has once again raised the bar in its category. Building on the popularity of the bright and bold colour schemes introduced by the limited-edition Trident Triple Tribute, we are now introducing striking new colours in addition to the basic Jet Black: Cosmic Yellow, Cobalt Blue and Diablo Red.”

Triumph New Trident 660
Three advantages
The Trident 660’s effortless performance is delivered by its flexible triple engine, which combines the contradictory characteristics of low-end torque, powerful mid-range riding, and exciting top-end feel. More than 90% of peak torque is available between 3,600 and 9,750 rpm, delivering the generous low-end torque of a twin, the extended mid-range power of a triple, and the high-revving top-end power of a four.
This refined triple engine offers riders the ease of riding a triple at all speeds and across the entire RPM range. Beautiful balance, ease of riding at all speeds, and power delivery, combined with the smooth gearbox and Triumph Shift Assist, result in seamless, effortless, thrilling, and immediate acceleration.

Sure handling
From its natural riding position to its high-quality suspension and powerful brakes, the Trident 660 boasts neutral, highly maneuverable handling. Its 805mm seat height and compact overall width make it easy to get on and off, enhancing maneuverability and confidence during slow-speed riding.
The new Trident 660 is upgraded to high-spec SHOWA SFF-BP “Big Piston” 41mm inverted forks for even greater comfort and control. It also comes equipped with a preload-adjustable RSU, also from SHOWA, powerful Nissin brakes with twin 310mm discs, and grippy Michelin Road 5 tires.

Triumph New Trident 660
Rider-focused technology
The new Trident 660 comes standard with class-leading technology. Unique to this segment, optimized cornering ABS and traction control ensure optimal performance at all lean angles through corners. Using information from a 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), the system calculates lean angle, brake pressure, and throttle position, continuously monitoring and adjusting engine and brake parameters to ensure optimal performance and safety during braking and acceleration. Also standard is Triumph Shift Assist, which allows seamless gear changes up and down without using the clutch and also includes cruise control to reduce rider fatigue. An
all-new full-color TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity provides precise route guidance. Navigation and phone functions are added for added rider convenience. In addition to the existing ride-by-wire throttle and Road and Rain riding modes, a third “Sport” mode has been added, delivering the triple engine’s responsive and exciting performance. Designed to be maintenance-free while increasing safety and reliability, the Trident 660 features a distinctive round all-LED headlamp, integrated rear light and auto-cancel indicator for enhanced visibility.

Triumph New Trident 660
Unique styling
The Trident 660’s retro-modern style and Triumph’s impeccable attention to detail create a distinctive balance. Its minimal lines and recognizable, muscular shape are complemented by bold new colour and graphics schemes, making it even more desirable for 2025.
A trio of eye-catching colours – Cosmic Yellow, Cobalt Blue and Diablo Red – are enhanced by a base Sapphire Black with a striking diagonal white stripe. A more subtle Jet Black colour scheme is also available. Other subtle updates include upgraded materials and finishes, including a new forged aluminium top yoke and forged aluminium brake pedal.
