The new “YZF-R6 Race Base Vehicle” is based on the 2020 supersport model “YZF-R6” (European specification), and is designed for racing and other circuit use. In addition to electronic devices such as a traction control system and quick shifter, it continues to use the same front suspension and front brakes as the higher-end “YZF-R1 Race Base Vehicle (2024 model).” There are no changes from the previous model.
The first batch will run from Wednesday, September 25th to Wednesday, October 9th, 2024, and the second batch will run from Thursday, October 10th to Friday, November 29th, 2024. Reservations will be accepted at authorized Yamaha on-road competition model dealers nationwide.

*The vehicle will be shipped without the headlights, position lamps, mirrors, horn, onboard tools, tandem seat, tandem step, rear fender, and graphics/labels.
*Purchase bonus: The "wire harness set" and "ECU" (including FI matching software), which are parts specifically for circuit racing, will be shipped separately from the vehicle itself.
*The "YZF-R6 Race Base Vehicle" is not certified by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, so it cannot obtain a license plate. It cannot be driven on roads. Driving it on roads is a violation of the Road Traffic Act and the Road Transport Vehicle Act. Even if the road is not properly regulated, such as private roads, temple and shrine grounds, beaches, embankments, farm roads, and forest roads, any place where people and vehicles can freely enter and exit is considered a road.
