The Tokyo Motorcycle Show 2025 will look back on the history of motorcycles and feature a wide range of vehicles, with a focus on modern heritage models that will be passed down. Custom vehicles created in collaboration with domestic and international brands, which the company has been working on in recent years, will also be on display. Proto’s original electric scooters, the PVE600 CROSS and PVE pro Series, will also be on display as prototypes. From fine bikes to commuter bikes, the show will be packed with a wide variety of vehicles.

Monkey 125 Custom

Based on the concept of “assembling with items that are available on the market and that will definitely be released on the market,” this Monkey 125 custom was made using only bolt-on parts. This bike embodies the selfish desires of Hiko Sakamoto, who was in charge of the customization this time.

The biggest customization point is the front and rear spoke wheels. Currently, they are prototypes, but they plan to release them as per the concept. In addition, custom seats and side panels are also newly introduced to the market. Completed with the cooperation of various aftermarket parts manufacturers such as Special Parts Takegawa, OVER Racing, G Craft and Brembo, it is a bike that is easy for beginners to get into.

Z900RS Gentotsu: Mk.2

From the limits of the round Z to the square Z. The Mk.2 marked a turning point in the history of the Kawasaki Z. The Z1000Mk.2 is known as the “Mark 2” rather than just the “Z.” Its tough yet beautiful appearance makes it a one-of-a-kind bike.

The photo shows a fully customized Z900RS that has been updated with suitable parts, centered around the Mk.2 exterior from Doremi Collection, which gives current and older models a “back in the day” feel. There is no limit to customization! The customization has been pushed to the limits, continuing to add to the things they “like.”

The aluminum subframe is made by Woodstock. This item is a masterpiece made by the company, carved out of a single block of aluminum, which gives it not only rigidity but also a unique shine and texture.

The Brembo upgraded caliper “GP4MS”, which was finally released in 2024, is also available. This item is a masterpiece with top-notch features, including machined parts, monoblock structure, cooling fins, and nickel coating. When installing the Brembo caliper, the peripheral parts are made using original parts from Proto, a Brembo distributor.

Z900RS Z1000R Lawson Style

Based on the Z900RS, it is customized with the Doremi Collection’s Z1000R Lawson replica exterior kit. The kit costs 418,000 yen (tax included). The exterior kit is sold unpainted, but if you request it at the time of ordering, you can have it painted in the lime green R1 color (pictured). The painted version costs 583,000 yen (tax included), which is the exterior kit plus the paint cost of 165,000 yen.

In addition to the exterior kit, it is also equipped with point covers, generator covers, engine sliders, core guards, radiator side accessories, and a slip-on megaphone exhaust muffler.

The PEV600 CROSS was developed based on the concept of “fun electric mobility.” It is currently under development as a convenient commuter vehicle that is fun to ride and can also be used for leisure activities, with delivery scheduled for autumn 2025.

The bike features upright front forks and twin rear shocks. Both front and rear brakes are disc type. 14-inch spoke wheels with block pattern tires are used on both the front and rear. A drive chain is used to drive the electric motor to the rear wheel.
