Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has released a teaser site for the large road sports bike “CB1300 Final Edition.” The arrival of the Final Edition means the end of the CB1300 series.
Farewell to BIG-1

Honda’s large road sports model, the CB1300, has continued to evolve since the first model was released in 1998 as part of the “Project Big 1.” Its iconic design and power make it a popular choice among many riders.
The teaser site currently features three videos along with some photos of the tank. We will provide further information on the final edition as soon as it becomes available.
A liter-plus bike that any rider can ride naturally

The CB1300 series is equipped with a water-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, in-line 4-cylinder 1284cc engine that produces a maximum output of 113 PS and a maximum torque of 11.4 kgm. This engine has been designed to provide linear torque characteristics in the low and mid-range and increased power in the high-range, achieving the smooth ride characteristic of an in-line 4-cylinder.
The body employs a double cradle frame with dual backbones, achieving both flexibility and stability, allowing for nimble sport riding and stability at high speeds.
The throttle-by-wire system also delivers a smooth, direct and powerful ride that resonates with the rider’s senses. Furthermore, it comes equipped with three riding modes (SPORT, STANDARD, RAIN) to provide a ride suited to a variety of riding situations.
Mature design and elegance

In terms of design, the lineup includes the naked-style “CB1300 SUPER FOUR” and the “CB1300 SUPER BOL D’OR” equipped with a half-cowl. Both models have impressive dimensions and a high-quality feel, offering the joy of ownership.
Furthermore, the SP (Special) model is equipped with specially selected equipment such as Öhlins suspension and Brembo brake calipers, in pursuit of even higher quality driving.
The main equipment includes LED headlights, heated grips, a USB socket, and other features that enhance comfort and convenience. It also comes equipped with safety-conscious features such as an ETC2.0 onboard unit and an emergency stop signal.
The end or a turning point for the next generation?

The CB1300 series continues to impress many riders with its overwhelming and elegant presence and high riding performance. Its evolution has never stopped, always pursuing a riding performance that exceeds riders’ expectations.
It’s sad to see the end of the Big 1, a bike that has matured to the pinnacle of Honda’s reputation. However, at the same time, it feels like a new generation of Honda is about to begin. Will there be a successor to the CB1300, or will there be a completely new model waiting in the wings? We’ll be keeping an eye on future developments.
