New coloring added while maintaining mature performance

The X-ADV, announced by Honda Europe as a 2026 model, retains the same basic structure and engine, but has been given a new color and minor adjustments to its equipment to enhance its appeal. The highlight is the new tricolor color, dubbed “Mat Pearl Glare White Special Edition,” which features red and blue graphics on a white base, evoking Honda’s iconic adventure models such as the Africa Twin and Transalp.
This special color has been added to the lineup, in addition to the existing “Graphite Black,” “Mat Deep Mud Gray,” and “Pearl Glare White,” broadening the range of visual options.
The engine, chassis and equipment will all be maintained.

The X-ADV 2026 is equipped with a 745cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine (approximately 57hp, 69Nm) that, combined with a DCT (6-speed dual-clutch transmission), delivers powerful and smooth riding.
The chassis is a pipe diamond frame, and the front and rear suspensions are equipped with 41mm inverted forks and Pro-Link swingarms. The brakes are a rigid configuration with radial 4-piston calipers and 296mm dual discs in the front and a 240mm single disc in the rear.
Standard equipment includes a wide range of features, including LED lighting, cruise control, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), a 5-inch TFT display (compatible with Bluetooth and RoadSync), a USB-C port, and a smart key.
DCT with improved ride quality and enhanced accessories

Although there are few changes to the mechanism, the 2026 model has been reported to have been adjusted to make the DCT clutch operation and engagement when starting smoother, improving practicality.
In addition, new accessories such as an Akrapovič slip-on muffler and a passenger bag (backrest) have been added, expanding the range of customization options.
Sustainability considerations and development trends in Europe

Continuing from the 2025 model, this model uses exterior parts made from plant-based bioplastics such as Durabio™ and recycled materials, and by eliminating the painting process, reduces CO₂ emissions, playing a part in Honda’s initiative to “use 100% sustainable materials by 2050.”
The lineup, including new colors, is scheduled to be released in the European market from autumn 2025. The release date in Japan has not yet been decided, but as it has always been a popular model, expectations are high for its domestic introduction.
The 2026 Honda X-ADV model maintains its refined mechanical design, but despite minor changes, it stands out for its high level of perfection, with a new tricolor special edition, a refined DCT, additional accessories, and the use of sustainable materials. As an ADV scooter that combines touring performance with everyday use, its level of perfection is unwavering.
