Suzuki V-STROM800… 1,276,000 yen (including 10% consumption tax)
Suzuki V-STROM800DE… 1,364,000 yen (including 10% consumption tax)
Suzuki has announced the 2025 models of its large-sized motorcycle sport adventure tourers, the V-STROM 800 and V-STROM 800DE. This model change sees both models adopting new color schemes and a revised manufacturer’s suggested retail price. The new V-Strom boasts a more refined appearance while retaining its functionality as an adventure model.
The new V-STROM 800 comes in three new colors
The V-STROM 800 is available in three colors: the chic and subdued “Oort Gray Metallic No. 3” (QEB), the sporty “Candy Darling Red” (YYG), and the powerful “Matte Black Metallic No. 2” (YKV).
All of these colors will enhance the V-Strom’s rugged yet sophisticated design, further enhancing the joy of ownership. In particular, the “Candy Darling Red” is reminiscent of Suzuki’s traditional racing colors, visually expressing the bike’s high level of sportiness.
The V-STROM 800DE, specialized for off-road performance, also comes in a new color.
Meanwhile, the V-STROM 800DE, which has enhanced off-road performance, is available in three color variations: the clean-looking Pearl Tech White (QU2), the highly visible Champion Yellow No. 2 (YU1), and the bold Glass Sparkle Black (YVB).
In particular, the “Champion Yellow No. 2” color not only improves visibility when riding off-road, but is also reminiscent of Suzuki’s RM series of motocross machines, making it a bike that will appeal to riders who enjoy serious adventure touring.
V-STROM 800DE’s excellent off-road performance and electronic control system
The V-STROM 800DE is equipped with the advanced electronic control system SIRS (Suzuki Intelligent Ride System) to handle various road conditions. This system is equipped with a dedicated G-mode traction control for riding on unpaved roads, allowing the rider to control the machine according to their preferences.
The rear brake also has an ABS deactivation mode that is effective when driving off-road.The fully adjustable front and rear suspension, large 21-inch wheels in the front, and semi-block pattern tube-type tires in the front and rear provide stable driving performance even on rough roads.
The exterior maintains the image common to the V-Strom series, but has been given a sharper styling, with accent colors around the bottom of the tank and the tip of the front cowl. This gives it a more modern and sophisticated impression while still retaining the instantly recognizable V-Strom identity.
Compared to the standard V-STROM 800, the 800DE model is better equipped for serious off-road riding, making it the perfect choice for adventure riders who want to seamlessly enjoy riding on everything from paved roads to dirt.
Suzuki’s further evolved mid-range adventure
This new color scheme makes Suzuki’s adventure lineup even more appealing. The V-STROM 800 series, which is particularly popular as a mid-class adventure bike, offers an excellent balance of price and performance, making it suitable for a wide range of uses, from touring to daily use.
