2025 Suzuki Safe Driving School
Suzuki has announced the details of its 2025 safe driving school. In addition to the already popular “U30 Suzuki Safety School” and “Suzuki Kitagawa Riding School,” the company will also be establishing a new “Suzuki Return Rider School” aimed at returning riders and beginners aged 30 and over. The program will be rolled out nationwide, targeting a wide range of riders and aimed at improving their safe driving skills.
Returning riders and older beginners can learn the basics at our newly established school!

A major highlight for fiscal 2025 is the newly established Suzuki Return Rider School, aimed at returning riders, who are on the rise with the resurgence of the motorcycle boom, as well as beginners aged 30 and over.
This school provides thorough instruction on the basics of riding, turning, and stopping. It is designed so that even riders with a break or those riding a motorcycle for the first time can participate with confidence. It will be held at three locations across the country, with a capacity of 20 people at each location. The participation fee is 5,000 yen (tax included), which includes lunch, free drinks, and accident insurance. Rental vehicles are also available.
The event dates are as follows:
- 1st session: July 20th (Sunday) East Japan Driving School (Shiogama City, Miyagi Prefecture)
- 2nd session: Saturday, September 2nd, Toyohashi Industrial Human Resources Development Center (Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture)
- 3rd session: October 26th (Sunday) Kintetsu Driving School (Matsubara City, Osaka Prefecture)
The school is a full-day program that combines lectures and practical training, allowing participants to acquire practical skills through braking, low-speed balance, pylon slalom, course slalom, and more.
U30 Suzuki Safety School held at four locations for young riders

The “U30 Suzuki Safety School,” which has been held continuously since last year, is a program for beginner riders under the age of 30. It is a fun program that teaches basic operations and predictive driving for safe riding on public roads.
Participation is limited to Suzuki motorcycles with a manual transmission of 126cc or more (GSX-S/R125 ABS are eligible to participate). However, rental vehicles (GSX250R) are available for beginners who have obtained their license but have not yet purchased a motorcycle. Each venue is limited to 15 people, and the participation fee is 5,000 yen (tax included).
The event dates are as follows:
- 1st session: Sunday, May 11th, Toyohashi Industrial Human Resources Development Center (Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture)
- 2nd session: September 15th (Monday, national holiday) Nishitetsu Driving School (Onojo City, Fukuoka Prefecture)
- 3rd session: Saturday, October 25th, Kintetsu Driving School (Matsubara City, Osaka Prefecture)
- 4th: Sunday, November 16th, Seiko Motor School (Fujimino City, Saitama Prefecture)
The curriculum is the same as the Return Rider School, and is structured so that participants can learn everything from basic operations to advanced techniques in one day.
Anyone from veterans to beginners can participate! Advanced technique lessons supervised by Keiichi Kitagawa are also available.

For riders who want to learn more advanced riding techniques, the Suzuki Kitagawa Riding School will be held. This school is now in its 18th year and is supervised by former All Japan Road Race Champion Keiichi Kitagawa. It caters to a wide range of riders, from beginners to veterans, and aims to help them acquire smooth riding techniques.
Participants must hold a standard or large motorcycle license (excluding automatic transmissions) and must be a Suzuki-made motorcycle with a transmission of 248cc or more. Rental vehicles are also available. Safety is also taken into consideration, with protective gear being mandatory.
The event is held four times a year, all at the Toyohashi Industrial Human Resources Development Center.
