New design emphasizes its innovative nature with LED lights
The 2025 Address 125 model has a completely new front face, evolving into an urban style. The new LED headlights improve visibility at night, and the cutting-edge lighting effects add color to everyday travel. LED taillights with a U-shaped light pattern are also adopted, giving the rear a clean, streamlined look. Combined with the flowing body shape, the overall aesthetic is dramatically improved.
The position lamps below the headlights also emit a U-shaped light, creating a more refined image. Despite the compact body, the car has a strong presence.
Storage and equipment designed for maximum practicality
The new Address 125 has also seen significant improvements in practicality. Under-seat storage has been increased by 2.6 liters, from 21.8 liters to 24.4 liters, a capacity increase achieved by changing the engine mount bracket. The fuel tank has also been increased from 5.0 liters to 5.3 liters, contributing to an extended cruising range.
The front pocket is now dual-type, with a new pocket on the right side in addition to the previous left side. It can hold a 500ml PET bottle and other personal items, improving comfort when traveling. The two convenience store hooks that were previously included have also been retained, making the bag more convenient for everyday use.
Rear carrier comes standard to improve loading capacity
Another notable change is that a rear carrier with a load capacity of 6 kg is now standard equipment. Not only does this make it easier to attach a top case, but its backrest-like shape with a grab bar also increases the sense of security when riding pillion.
Major changes have also been made to the fuel filler area. Previously, the fuel cap was exposed at the rear end of the vehicle, but the new model uses a fuel lid that can be operated with the main key. This allows refueling while sitting, improving both convenience and luxury.
Driving performance improved by major renewal of SEP engine
The powertrain has been significantly improved based on the Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) engine, which has high combustion efficiency and reduced friction loss. Changes to the camshaft profile, combustion chamber shape, and drivetrain settings have been made to achieve both smooth acceleration and excellent fuel economy.
It achieves a fuel economy of 53.4km/L in WMTC mode, making it economical for everyday use such as commuting to work or shopping. It delivers a maximum output of 8.4ps/6500rpm and a maximum torque of 9.8Nm/5000rpm.
The engine has been made into a constant engagement type starting system, which has significantly improved quietness when starting. The kick starter, which was well received in the previous model, has also been adopted, and it is a safe design that can also be used in the unlikely event of a dead battery.
Newly designed frame for nimble handling
The body structure has also been improved, with a newly designed frame that is lighter and has an optimized rigidity balance. It combines nimble handling with a sense of stability, and while maintaining ease of handling, the riding quality has been further improved. The weight has been kept to 108 kg, and the seat height is 770 mm, making it easy to reach the ground.
The brake lock lever is also still used, and the function that allows you to keep the rear brake on increases convenience when stopped. It is an analog mechanism but is highly practical, and the design shows Suzuki’s characteristic attention to detail everywhere.
Amazing cost performance at just 6,600 yen more
Despite all these changes, the price has been kept down to 280,500 yen (previously 273,900 yen), a mere 6,600 yen increase. The high cost performance of the new Address 125, which has evolved in every aspect with a renewed design, improved engine, expanded storage space, and improved equipment, is particularly noteworthy.
Available in four colors: Solid Ice Green, Pearl Grace White, Matte Stellar Blue Metallic, and Matte Black Metallic. The 2025 model, which has been renewed about three years after its release, has gained even more appeal as a vehicle that can be used for everyday activities such as commuting and shopping.
