AIROH is a leading Italian helmet brand. It supports top riders competing in world championships in all categories, from on-road to motocross, rally and trials. While it has been known for its use of cutting-edge materials and designs, at EICMA 2024 it highlighted its advancements in safety as well.
A new protective system is now widely recognized, particularly in off-road helmets, which uses slight movement of the interior to cushion the rotational motion that can cause impact to the brain in the event of a fall.
AIROH equips most of its full-face helmets, both for on- and off-road use, with its proprietary impact reduction system, MNS. The AVIATER 3 series, the pinnacle of off-road helmets, is equipped with the AMS2 Plus system, which offers even higher protection performance.
This protective system, which reduces impact to the brain by moving the interior, is adopted by many manufacturers. Mips, which provides its own protective system to various helmet brands, is well-known, but SHOEI and American 6D Helmet have also developed their own technology and are using it in their commercially available helmets. Other manufacturers are likely to adopt this system in the future.

Furthermore, AIROH has formed a new partnership with In & Motion, a French company known as a top brand for motorcycle airbag systems, to continue development of the helmet airbag system that it had been developing in collaboration with Autoliv, an Austrian airbag manufacturer. According to a representative from In & Motion, they will continue development to connect their current lineup of racing and street airbag systems to helmets via Bluetooth, allowing the helmet airbag to be operated cordlessly.
Helmets are also continuing to evolve.

↑AIROH and In & Motion have formed a new technical partnership. The scope of motorcycle airbag systems continues to expand.
