SCOYCO, a brand with a reputation for motorcycle shoes, has released the new MR003 racing boots for entry-level to mid-class riders. This model combines affordability with high performance for riders looking for their first riding boots or considering circuit riding.
High performance at an affordable price
The MR003 is priced at just under 30,000 yen, which is about one-third the price of high-end racing boots, making it possible for even beginner riders to easily get their hands on high-performance racing boots.
Developed as the third generation of SCOYCO’s MR series, it is positioned as Ver. 3. Based on past experience and feedback, the design and functionality have been further improved. It is designed to be suitable not only for sports driving and circuit driving, but also for city driving and touring.
Combining protection and comfort
The front of the helmet features a metal mesh that protects the rider’s feet from flying stones, and the helmet features a highly efficient intake and exhaust system with multiple mesh structures inside and outside. This ensures comfort even on circuit roads where heat tends to build up. The helmet’s highly abrasion-resistant microfiber leather and flexible construction ensure both safety and ease of use.
Yukio Kagayama, representative of Team Kagayama, who has competed around the world as a works rider, commented after actually using the MR003 at Tsukuba Circuit, “I recommend these boots to riders who are switching from riding shoes to boots for the first time. Reliable with international CE Level 2 certification
The MR003 has passed the European standard motorcycle protective footwear test (EN 13634:2017) and is certified to the international standard CE Level 2, proving its high safety and reliability.
The highly breathable Air Tech mesh lining prevents stuffiness and keeps you comfortable even during long runs. The ergonomic foam insole by SCOYCO gently supports the arch of the foot to reduce fatigue. Furthermore, the YKK zipper makes it easy to put on and take off, even while wearing gloves.
