Pioneer has announced that it will update its motorcycle navigation app, “MOTTO GO,” on January 30, 2025, to support “Apple CarPlay” and “Android Auto™.” This will enable integration with smart monitors at no additional cost.
Smart monitor compatibility for easier viewing

“MOTTO GO” is a navigation app optimized for motorcycles, featuring easy-to-understand voice guidance and a simple, easy-to-read screen display. With this update, by connecting to a smart monitor that supports “Apple CarPlay” or “Android Auto™,” the app information is now displayed in an optimized format on the monitor and can be operated. This allows riders to enjoy comfortable touring without worrying about their smartphone falling or breaking due to vibration, or getting wet in the rain.
“MOTTO GO” offers detailed navigation optimized for motorcycles, including route search by engine displacement (excluding 50cc), counting the number of traffic lights, turning points, and intersection information. It also provides information to support safe riding, such as “speed limit/regular speed display,” “sharp curves,” “traffic jams,” and “weather,” as well as information to enhance the enjoyment of touring, such as “nationwide touring courses,” “nearby tourist spots,” and “scenic spots.”
Pioneer plans to add and update features for “MOTTO GO” while taking into account user feedback, in order to provide an even more enjoyable touring experience. With this update, riders can now use the smart monitor to experience safer and more comfortable navigation.
