It can carry a maximum load of 1,055 kg.
Piaggio has a long history of producing small-displacement trucks, having released the Vespa-based APE truck in 1948. In 1992, the Porter was born, a knockdown production of the Daihatsu Hijet at a local factory. Since 2021, Piaggio has been transitioning to the second-generation model, designed in-house. It is equipped with a 1498cc engine that can run on gasoline, LPG, or methane, and a new electric version, the Porter NPE, has been added to the lineup.

It is equipped with a compact drive unit that drives the rear wheels.
The heart of the Porter NPE is a compact drive unit (EDU) that integrates the powertrain, inverter, and transmission. It is designed to minimize weight, space, and the number of parts, while optimizing the electrical and cooling circuits to achieve high performance and efficiency. Power levels are 150kW peak and 60kW continuous, with torque levels of 330Nm peak and 128Nm continuous, providing ample power even on steep gradients and when starting. The car accelerates to a top speed of 90km/h and has a maximum range of 255km, providing more than enough performance for city use.

Many customization options are available, allowing you to customize it to suit your needs.
The chassis, inherited from the gasoline-engine model, can carry a maximum load of 1,055 kg. Rear-wheel drive ensures high performance in all driving conditions. The power unit’s electronic control system, energy recovery, sailing function and creep function (which operate at a controlled top speed of 8 km/h without using the accelerator) ensure smooth operation and reduce fatigue and stress, even in traffic jams, frequent stop-and-go maneuvers, and when parking or maneuvering in tight spaces.

It has a modern cockpit, with a cabin width of 1640mm, wider than that of a light truck.
The system is powered by a 42KWH, 350V lithium iron phosphate battery. It recharges when the vehicle slows down to 15km/h or less. The battery can be charged to 20-70% capacity in four hours in standard mode (AC) or in 30 minutes in fast charge mode (DC).
The chassis is available in two versions: a short wheelbase of 2650mm and a long wheelbase of 3070mm, with a wide range of equipment and customisation options available.
