Special equipment for circuit racing
The YZF-R1 race base vehicle is a circuit-only model based on the 2025 European-spec supersport YZF-R1. It is equipped with winglets that improve the stability of the vehicle body and efficiently generate downforce during high-speed cornering.
To withstand the harsh conditions of racing, each part is made with high-quality components without compromise. In particular, the suspension and brake systems are made with products from well-established manufacturers, achieving driving performance at a level comparable to that of a professional racer.
KYB front suspension
The front suspension uses KYB’s left and right independent compression and rebound damping force system. This allows for precise damping control and allows for flexible response to various road conditions on the circuit. The left and right independent adjustment function allows for detailed settings to be made according to the rider’s preferences and riding conditions.
Compared to conventional suspension, the vehicle’s behavior during cornering is more stable and more predictable at the limit.
Brembo monoblock caliper
The braking system uses a front brake made by the prestigious Italian manufacturer Brembo. The combination of a monoblock caliper Stylema and a radial master cylinder has significantly improved the control feel.
Monoblock calipers are more rigid than conventional split calipers, and offer excellent consistency in braking touch and effectiveness, providing stable performance even under continuous high-load braking on a circuit.

Limited-time two-stage reservation system
The YZF-R1 race-based model is a made-to-order model, so reservations must be made within a set period. The first reservation period is from September 4 to September 18, 2025, and the second reservation period is from September 19 to November 28.
Due to this limited-time system, customers who want to be sure to get a vehicle are encouraged to make their reservation early. Please note that if you miss the reservation period, you will have to wait until the next production run.
