2025 TRACER 9 GT+ Y-AMT DET
The new automatic transmission, “Y-AMT (Yamaha Automated Manual Transmission),” eliminates the need for clutch operation, reducing the burden on the rider. Furthermore, by linking with the “ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control)” function, which follows the vehicle ahead, it achieves comfortable cruising.
“Y-AMT” automates gear changes by using an actuator to handle clutch and shift operations. It is possible to switch between “MT mode” and “AT mode,” allowing riders to enjoy riding according to their preferences. In particular, “AT mode” eliminates the need for gear changes, allowing for a comfortable ride similar to that of an automatic vehicle. In addition, by linking with “ACC,” gear selection during constant speed riding and automatic gear changes according to changes in vehicle speed are performed, achieving a world first for a motorcycle.
Equipped with advanced driver assistance systems to enhance safety

Focusing on improving safety, the model is equipped with “FCW (Forward Collision Warning),” which uses a forward millimeter-wave radar to detect vehicles ahead and warn when the risk of collision increases. Furthermore, it is the first Japanese model to feature “VHC (Vehicle Hold Control),” which assists braking when stopping on a slope or starting off. “BSD (Blind Spot Detection),” which detects vehicles approaching from behind and displays the information in the mirror, has also been newly added, supporting rider safety.
Enhanced equipment for comfort and convenience
It is also equipped with a full range of features for comfort and convenience, including a smart key system and keyless locking system, as well as a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) that monitors tire pressure, enhancing safety while driving.
A sophisticated design worthy of a flagship model
In terms of design, two colors are available that express the quality and sportiness befitting a flagship. “Black” appeals to the world of high-tech sports with its silver and black paintwork and blue wheels. “Dark Blue” expresses a sophisticated quality and elegance with its silver-painted wheels.
