Honda CBR250RR…Starting from 902,000 yen

Honda will change the color variations of its light motorcycle super sports model “CBR250RR” and release it on March 6, 2025. The price will be between 902,000 yen and 940,000 yen (tax included).

Adopting a color reminiscent of the old RR

The aim of this color change is to further highlight the individuality of each color. There are three colors in total: “Matte Bullet Silver,” which emphasizes a powerful impression and sharp styling, “Pearl Glare White,” which has the traditional image of the CBR series, and the tricolor “Grand Prix Red,” which creates a racing image.

The first CBR250RR model was released in 2017, and its development concept was to “achieve high levels of total control performance and maximize the joy of handling.” Specifically, the three elements of acceleration, cornering, and braking performance were fused at a high level in pursuit of the rider’s joy of controlling the bike at will.

Racing inline 2-cylinder engine

The model is equipped with a 249cc water-cooled, four-stroke, in-line, two-cylinder DOHC engine, and is designed to combine cutting-edge styling with outstanding power performance. It has gained support from a wide range of customers, especially young people.

It has the characteristic of smoothly revving up to high revolution ranges, and combines high power output with ease of handling. It also uses a throttle-by-wire system, which responds linearly to the rider’s accelerator operation.

Lightweight and highly rigid frame

The body employs a lightweight, highly rigid frame, achieving excellent maneuverability. The suspension employs an inverted fork in the front and a Pro-Link suspension in the rear, improving road-holding and stability.

The styling is characterized by a low-slung silhouette and sharp lines, and the adoption of LED headlights and taillights emphasizes its cutting-edge image.

The CBR250RR is a model that can be used in a wide range of situations, including daily transportation, weekend sports riding, touring, etc. With this change in color variations, it is expected that it will be chosen by even more riders.
