Honda Rebel 1100 Dual Clutch Transmission…Starting from 1,204,500 yen

On March 20, 2025, Honda changed some of the specifications of its large cruiser model “Rebel 1100” series and released the new “Rebel 1100 S Edition Dual Clutch Transmission” on March 20.
The manufacturer’s suggested retail prices are 1,204,500 yen for the Rebel 1100, 1,314,500 yen for the Rebel 1100 Dual Clutch Transmission, 1,380,500 yen for the Rebel 1100 T, 1,490,500 yen for the Rebel 1100 T Dual Clutch Transmission, and 1,441,000 yen for the newly added Rebel 1100 S Edition Dual Clutch Transmission. These prices include 10% consumption tax, but do not include insurance, registration, or other fees.
Newly equipped with DCT

A Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) is a system that automates clutch operation and gear shifting while maintaining the structure of a manual transmission. It has two clutches, one for 1-3-5th gear and the other for 2-4-6th gear, and switches between them electronically to achieve seamless gear changes. This provides direct driving force while providing smooth acceleration and deceleration and easy riding.
This improvement has increased the engine’s compression ratio and improved torque at low and medium speeds. In addition, the position of the handlebars, steps, and seat have been improved to pursue rider comfort. Furthermore, a 5-inch full-color TFT LCD meter is now standard equipment, and the Honda RoadSync function has been installed, making it possible to link with smartphones.
The Rebel 1100 series’ main specifications are as follows: length 2,240mm, width 850mm, height 1,125mm, wheelbase 1,520mm, ground clearance 120mm, seat height 710mm, and vehicle weight 226kg (236kg for DCT models). The engine is a water-cooled, four-stroke, OHC (Unicam) four-valve inline twin-cylinder with a total displacement of 1,082cc, bore x stroke 92.0 x 81.4mm, compression ratio 10.5, maximum power 65kW (88PS) at 7,250 rpm, and maximum torque 98N・m (10.0kgf・m) at 4,750 rpm. The fuel tank capacity is 13L, and fuel consumption is 31.0km/L (60km/h).
New Rebel 1100 S Edition Dual Clutch Transmission

The newly added “Rebel 1100 S Edition Dual Clutch Transmission” comes standard with accessories that create individuality, such as a headlight cowl in the same color as the main body, fork boots, radiator side covers, bar end mirrors, a short front fender, and a distinctive seat. These accessories give the model even more presence and style.
Color variations include Matte Ballistic Black Metallic for the Rebel 1100 and Rebel 1100 Dual Clutch Transmission, Iridium Gray Metallic for the Rebel 1100 T and Rebel 1100 T Dual Clutch Transmission, and Flare Orange Metallic and Matte Ballistic Black Metallic for the Rebel 1100 S Edition Dual Clutch Transmission.
The Rebel 1100 series has evolved into a model that offers new value to riders through engine performance, comfort, and equipment incorporating the latest technology. In particular, the adoption of DCT has a major appeal in that it allows riders to enjoy direct driving force while being freed from clutch operation. Future developments are attracting attention.
