Honda CRF250 series…Starting from 649,000 yen

Honda will make some changes to the coloring and specifications of its on- and off-road models, the CRF250L, CRF250L<s>, CRF250 RALLY, and CRF250 RALLY<s>, and will release them on Thursday, March 20, 2025. The prices are 649,000 yen for the CRF250L and 792,000 yen for the RALLY (all prices include tax).

The 2025 model of L will have a new color and cover.

The new CRF250L color, “Swift Gray,” has an updated exterior color scheme and graphic design. The “Extreme Red” model for the CRF250L<s> has also had its graphic design changed. The “Extreme Red” models for the CRF250 RALLY and CRF250 RALLY<s> have changed the seat color to blue and have also had their graphic design completely redesigned.

In addition, the shape of the radiator grille and side covers has been revised on all models to reduce the impact of exhaust heat from the engine on the rider, and the front and rear suspension settings have also been changed to pursue a more comfortable ride. 

Changed seat shape to improve foot reach

The CRF250L is a model that is attractive for its light and nimble riding in a wide range of situations, from urban areas to off-road. The newly designed frame and revised engine mounting position have improved ground clearance and enhanced off-road performance.

In addition, the seat shape has been changed to improve foot reach and a sense of support for the body while riding. A gear position indicator and fuel consumption meter have been added to the meter, improving visibility. The handlebar angle has been increased and the footpegs have been positioned further back to improve operability. 

RALLY’s tank has been increased to 12L

The CRF250 RALLY is an adventure model reminiscent of the form of the CRF450 RALLY, a machine that competed in the Dakar Rally. Equipped with a front screen, frame-mounted headlamp, and meter, it pursues comfort during high-speed cruising.

The fuel tank capacity has been increased to 12L, improving usability for long-distance touring. The handlebars are equipped with inner weights to reduce vibration, and the seat and footpegs are also designed to reduce vibration. These features reduce rider fatigue during long-distance riding. 

Both the CRF250L and CRF250 RALLY are equipped with a 249cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, single-cylinder engine that produces a maximum output of 18kW (24PS) at 9,000rpm and a maximum torque of 23Nm (2.3kgm) at 6,500rpm.The seat height is 830mm for the CRF250L and 830mm for the CRF250 RALLY, allowing riders to choose according to their preferences. 

With this model change, the CRF250L and CRF250 RALLY have further enhanced their respective characteristics. The CRF250L pursues lighter riding and operability, while the CRF250 RALLY enhances comfort for long-distance touring. With new coloring and specification changes, these models are now able to meet the diverse needs of riders.
