Suzuki released the 2025 model of its adventure tourer, the V-Strom 800DE, on March 14th. This time, new colors have been added and the price has been revised.
The colors available are the vivid “Champion Yellow No. 2,” the chic “Glass Sparkle Black,” and the sophisticated “Pearl Tech White,” and the price is 1,364,000 yen (tax included).
Suzuki’s sports adventure tourer, the V-STROM 800DE, is now available in a new color scheme. This powerful model is designed for riders who love traveling, and is capable of navigating both paved and unpaved roads.
The engine and balancer mechanism are the core of driving performance
The V-STROM 800DE is equipped with a 775cc parallel twin-cylinder engine. This engine uses the Suzuki Cross Balancer, which places the primary balancer on two axes to suppress vibration while achieving a lightweight and compact design. It delivers powerful torque from low to high speeds, providing a smooth riding feel that reduces fatigue even on long-distance tours.
Suspension that can handle unpaved roads
The V-STROM 800DE, designed with off-road riding in mind, features a suspension system that smoothly absorbs uneven road surfaces with a 21-inch wire-spoke wheel mounted on the front. The front and rear tires use semi-block pattern tube types to ensure grip on rough roads. In addition, the rear brake is equipped with an ABS disengagement mode, allowing the rider to control the bike at will.

The V-STROM 800DE is equipped with Suzuki’s electronic control technology, SIRS (Suzuki Intelligent Ride System). This includes SDMS (Suzuki Drive Mode Selector), which allows you to choose from three modes for power output characteristics, and the traction control system STCS. STCS also features a G-mode for unpaved roads, supporting stable off-road riding.
