Suzuki GSX-S1000GX…2,057,000 yen

Suzuki released the 2025 model of its crossover two-tourer GSX-S1000 on March 14th. The 2025 model has new colors and a revised price.
It will be available in three colors: “Candy Darling Red,” “Triton Blue Metallic,” and “Glass Sparkle Black,” and will be priced at 2,057,000 yen (tax included).
High-performance sports and adventure

The GSX-S1000GX combines the characteristics of a sports tourer and an adventure bike, making it a bike that delivers comfortable riding in any situation, from highway cruising to winding roads and long tours.
The engine is a 999cc inline 4-cylinder DOHC engine inherited from the GSX-S1000 series. While it inherits the DNA of a supersport model, it has been tuned for characteristics that emphasize touring performance. It delivers powerful torque from low speeds and offers sharp acceleration like a sports bike at high speeds. Another feature is the adoption of an electronically controlled throttle, which realizes smooth and precise throttle response.
Numerous safety features including electronic suspension

The newly developed electronically controlled suspension, Suzuki Advanced Electronic Suspension (SAES), is adopted, and Suzuki’s first electronically controlled damper is installed. Furthermore, by combining it with Suzuki Road Adaptive Stabilization (SRAS), which uses an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) to detect unevenness in the road surface and automatically optimizes suspension damping, it provides a comfortable ride both on and off-road. This system, which contributes to improved comfort especially during long-distance touring, allows for stable driving even on highway joints and rough paved roads.
The bike is equipped with the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS) and offers a variety of electronic control functions. The Suzuki Drive Mode Selector “SDMS-α” allows you to select from three engine output characteristics. The traction control can be set to seven levels plus OFF, allowing adjustment according to road conditions and the rider’s preferences. The Motion Track Brake System optimizes ABS control even when the vehicle is banked, supporting safe braking. In addition, it is equipped with “Slope Dependent Control” which suppresses rear tire lift when braking downhill, allowing for stable deceleration.
Smart cruise control

To improve rider comfort, Suzuki’s first Smart Cruise Control is adopted. In addition to conventional cruise control, it incorporates a function that maintains speed even when shifting gears. This makes long-distance travel on the highway much more comfortable. A bidirectional quick shift system is also standard equipment, allowing smooth shift changes without clutch operation. This contributes to reducing fatigue during long-distance travel without compromising the enjoyment of sports riding.
It features a 6.5-inch full-color TFT display that improves rider visibility and also features smartphone connectivity. This makes it easy to check information such as navigation and incoming call notifications while riding. The display can be switched between black and white depending on the time of day, and is designed to ensure maximum visibility.
Designed with an emphasis on touring performance, it is equipped with a three-stage adjustable windscreen that effectively controls the wind while riding, providing an environment that reduces fatigue even during long rides. It also has a USB socket, allowing you to charge your smartphone or other devices. ETC2.0 is also standard equipment, improving convenience on highways.
17-inch tires on both sides provide sports car-like performance

The suspension is equipped with 17-inch cast wheels, ensuring stable riding performance as a road sports bike. The front suspension is equipped with an electronically controlled inverted fork and the rear is equipped with an electronically controlled mono shock, achieving both a comfortable ride and high cornering performance. The brake system uses radial-mount calipers and large-diameter discs to provide high braking power.
The body design adopts a unique style that combines the elegant form of a sports bike with the functionality of an adventure model. It features a sharp front face and a powerful tank shape, creating a silhouette that gives the rider a sense of security.
As the latest evolution of Suzuki’s sport tourer, it combines high-speed cruising comfort, sporty riding performance, and superior electronic control technology, making it the ideal companion for riders who enjoy long-distance touring.
