Color change and attractive pricing

Suzuki’s full-cowl sports model, the Gixxer SF250, will go on sale on March 25, 2025. This model change brings with it new liveries, with three new colors added to the lineup: Triton Blue Metallic/Pearl Glacier White (AGQ), Matte Bordeaux Red Metallic/Matte Black Metallic No. 2 (CUU), and Matte Black Metallic No. 2 (YKV), allowing for a more unique style.
The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is 514,800 yen (tax included). At this price range, the styling unique to a full-cowl sports model and Suzuki’s unique oil-cooled engine make it a great value for money. Compared to its rivals, it offers an excellent balance of equipment and performance.
Full cowl design for enhanced performance

The design of the Gixxer SF250 is characterized by a low silhouette that enhances the sporty form and emphasizes a forward-leaning riding position. The bold surface structure, which takes aerodynamics into consideration, realizes smooth airflow and provides stable riding performance.
The LED headlamp adopts a wide design, creating a unique front face that is instantly recognizable as a Gixxer SF250. The tail lamp and grab bar are also integrated into the cowl design, and the sharp and compact rear area further enhances the appeal of the bike as a sports bike.
The two-part front and rear seats provide the rider and pillion rider with optimal positions for a comfortable ride. Thanks to a design that has been carefully calculated down to the smallest detail, it is designed to reduce fatigue even on long rides.
Powerful oil-cooled engine

The engine installed in the Gixxer SF250 is a 249cc single-cylinder SOHC 4-valve engine that uses Suzuki’s unique oil-cooling technology, “SOCS (Suzuki Oil Cooling System).” Unlike conventional cooling methods, the oil is circulated around the periphery of the combustion chamber, improving cooling efficiency. This allows for improved combustion efficiency and reduced friction loss while extracting power at high rpm.
Its maximum output is 19kW (9,300rpm) and maximum torque is 22Nm (7,300rpm), making it comfortable to drive in a wide range of situations, from urban areas to winding roads. It also has excellent fuel efficiency, recording a constant fuel efficiency value of 44.5km/L as reported by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. It is an engine that combines economy and driving performance.
Equipment that improves operability and safety performance

The highly visible full digital LCD meter makes it easy to check information while riding. The RPM indicator has a function that notifies the optimum timing for shifting by lighting or flashing a lamp, and is designed to be suitable for sports riding. It also comes equipped with a gear position indicator, odometer, twin trip meters, clock, and oil change indicator for improved convenience.
The suspension system features a 41mm inner tube diameter front fork and a 7-stage preload adjustable rear suspension. This allows for settings to suit the riding environment and the rider’s preferences. The brakes are equipped with 300mm front and 220mm rear disc brakes, and ABS is standard equipment, improving safety performance. In addition, the front and rear radial tires are 110mm and 150mm, respectively, providing excellent grip.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF250 is a full-cowl sports model that offers a high level of balance in terms of styling, riding performance, and equipment. It is an attractive choice for riders who want to easily enjoy the fun of a sports bike.
