Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (Honda) will release a new large road sports model, the CB750 Hornet, on February 13, 2025. The price is 1,039,500 yen (tax included).
Equipped with a lightweight and compact in-line 2-cylinder OHC engine
The CB750 Hornet was developed with the concept of “a performance mid-range sports bike that can dash through winding roads and urban areas,” and aims to combine practicality in the city with fun riding in the suburbs.
The power unit is a lightweight and compact 754cc water-cooled OHC (Unicam type) in-line 2-cylinder engine. It achieves output characteristics that balance ease of handling and pulse in the low and mid-range, and power and exhilaration in the high-range. Specifications are a maximum output of 67kW (91ps) / 9500rpm and a maximum torque of 75Nm (7.6kgm) / 7250rpm. In addition, it employs an assist and slipper clutch that reduces the operating load of the clutch lever and suppresses rear wheel hopping when downshifting.
The body is made of a diamond frame with an integrated rear frame, with an optimized layout and lightweight components. The front is equipped with a Showa SFF-BP inverted front fork, and the rear is equipped with a Pro-Link suspension with excellent road-holding properties, making it suitable for a variety of situations, including city streets, highways, and winding roads.

In terms of equipment, it is equipped with a 5-inch full-color TFT LCD meter and Honda RoadSync, which connects the vehicle to a smartphone via Bluetooth and allows for music playback, calls, and other operations to be controlled using the handlebar switches and voice input.
