Bimota KB4RC… 4.73 million yen
Italian handmade motorcycle brand “Bimota” will release its new model “KB4RC” in Japan on April 19th. It will be priced at 4,730,000 yen (tax included) and will be produced in Italy. Sales will be limited to authorized Bimota dealers and will come with a two-year manufacturer’s warranty.
A new sports bike that combines tradition and innovation
This model is a sports bike that incorporates the latest technology and materials while inheriting the spirit of the KB1, which was released in 1978. Sales will begin at authorized Bimota dealers from April 19, 2025.
Chassis design that pursues light weight and high rigidity
The KB4RC is hand-assembled by Italian craftsmen and uses machined aluminum parts and high-quality carbon materials to achieve thorough weight reduction and high rigidity. The short wheelbase of 1,390 mm provides agile handling performance, and the chrome-molybdenum steel front trellis frame and aluminum swingarm provide excellent handling stability.
Kawasaki engine and advanced electronic control technology
The bike is equipped with a Kawasaki 1,043cc in-line 4-cylinder engine that generates ample torque across a wide range of revolutions. It also comes with a host of advanced electronic control technologies, including a cornering management function using an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), traction control, power mode selection, cruise control, and a quick shifter, all of which support riding.
Adjustment mechanisms and equipment that increase rider freedom
To enhance rider comfort and freedom, the bike is equipped with an eccentric adjuster that allows for easy adjustment of footpeg position and vehicle height. Furthermore, the bike is packed with attention to detail, including Öhlins front and rear suspension, a Brembo brake system, genuine leather seats, and OZ forged aluminum wheels. The unique exterior design and a serial numbered plate further enhance the joy of ownership.
The KB4RC embodies Bimota’s philosophy of “Freedom” and is a motorcycle that can be adjusted to suit the rider’s personality and riding style.
