Bikes Weekly News Digest is a feature that brings you all the notable news from the previous week. This time, we will be introducing the news released from August 25th to 31st, 2025.

A new standard for the next generation of riders, combining outstanding cost performance with high functionality.

Custom Japan Co., Ltd. will be the exclusive distributor of ASMAX’s latest flagship model, the F1 Pro, as an official import from early September 2025. The ASMAX F1 Pro offers all the features you’d expect from a high-end model, including mesh communication, high-quality speakers, voice control, IPX7 waterproofing, and dedicated app compatibility, all at half the market price. It’s positioned as the definitive next-generation intercom, making riders confident that if they’re unsure which one to choose, this is the one to go for.

Mesh communication and dedicated app integration, which have been gaining attention in the industry in recent years, are creating a free and stable communication environment that transcends manufacturer boundaries. The F1 Pro is packed with the latest technologies, including intuitive operation switches, voice commands (activating “Hi MAX”), IoT-compatible app integration, advanced noise cancellation, and high-quality speakers, and by providing opportunities to experience it in physical stores and online, it addresses the challenge of conveying the benefits of technology.

The ASMAX F1 Pro is a globally available model manufactured at an SMT factory in Guangdong Province, and has been localized for Japan. It comes with a Japanese manual, domestic support, and is technically certified, and will be available to try out at events such as the Tokyo Motorcycle Show. This marks Custom Japan’s first entry into the intercom market, based on their philosophy of “creating the Norjin,” which is to “select the best products from around the world and deliver them to Japanese riders.”

The F1 Pro is an all-rounder that can handle everything from everyday solo riding to mass touring with 10 or more people. It supports multitasking communication such as Bluetooth calls, music, navigation, and intercom calls, and can also be customized with voice control and apps. It is durable and convenient enough to withstand harsh environments such as off-road and winter sports.

Key features of the Japanese model include Bluetooth 5.3 dual chip (8 cores), communication distance 500m up to 3km, simultaneous pairing with 10 people (expandable to 16 people in the future), voice command “Hi MAX”, ENC noise reduction, selectable microphone (boom type/wired), ASMAX original 40mm speaker (tuned by Bongiovi Acoustic Labs), operation via physical buttons, voice, or dedicated app “ASMAX WORLD”, magnetic mounting, 1350 mAh battery (approximately 14 hours of continuous talk time, fast charging compatible), IPX7 waterproofing, 2-year warranty, OTA updates, and universal pairing with other companies’ intercoms.

Previously, mesh communication models were typically priced at 50,000 to 80,000 yen from high-end brands like SENA and CARDO, but the F1 Pro offers comparable functionality at an unconventional price range. It aims to be a new standard, reaching those looking to upgrade from a Bluetooth intercom or experience mesh for the first time.

The dedicated app “ASMAX WORLD” is compatible with iOS and Android and offers flexible customization to suit everyday usage scenarios, including LED light pattern and color adjustment, CloudTalk mode, speaker sound quality and volume adjustment, OTA firmware updates, and Japanese voice guidance.

In terms of quality, we visit the developer and manufacturing factory to directly confirm the design philosophy and quality control system. We have not only established a system for products that can be used with peace of mind, but also support, warranty, and legal compliance (including technical conformity).

When it was announced, it was also exhibited at the 2025 Tokyo Motorcycle Show, where it received many comments calling it “a new, next-generation model” for its beautiful appearance when worn on a helmet, its luminous X-shaped LED indicator, and its clear sound quality. ASMAX plans to expand into Europe and North America in the future, with the Japanese market positioned as the core.
