Main changes and improvements to the CL250

The new CL250 has been improved to significantly improve rider usability. The main step has been reshaped to make it easier for the rider to reach the ground, and the material inside the seat has also been revised to improve comfort while riding.

The meter structure has been revised to reduce sunlight reflection and improve visibility during the day. These improvements have made the instrument panel much easier to use in everyday life.

Newly equipped with the innovative Honda E-Clutch technology

The newly introduced CL250 E-Clutch is equipped with Honda’s electronic control technology, “Honda E-Clutch.” This technology automatically controls the optimum clutch control in situations where driving force changes, such as when starting, shifting gears, and stopping, without the rider having to operate the clutch lever.

The Honda E-Clutch provides a smooth, seamless ride, while the rider can also control the clutch manually by operating the clutch lever.The design allows riders to benefit from new technology while retaining the traditional feel of the controls.

CL250 color variations and pricing

The CL250 is available in one color, “Pearl Cadet Gray,” while the CL250 E-Clutch is available in two colors: “Pearl Dusk Yellow,” which has a vibrant and active look, and “Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic,” which gives a bold look.

The price for the CL250 is set at 649,000 yen (including consumption tax), and the price for the CL250 E-Clutch is set at 704,000 yen (including consumption tax). The planned sales volume in Japan is 2,300 units per year.

Extensive lineup of genuine accessories

A wide range of genuine accessories are available to further enhance the appeal of the CL250 series, including headlight visors, headlight visor stripes, rear side covers, rear side cover stripes, knuckle guards, and raised fenders, to suit the various tastes of riders.

In line with this change in specifications, the coloring of some accessories has also been changed, allowing for even more unique customization.

CL250 specs and performance

The CL250 series is equipped with a water-cooled, four-stroke, DOHC, four-valve, single-cylinder engine with a total displacement of 249cc, which produces a maximum power output of 24ps/8,500rpm and a maximum torque of 23Nm/6,250rpm.

The vehicle weight is light at 172 kg for the CL250 and 175 kg for the CL250 E-Clutch. The seat height is set to 790 mm, making it suitable for a wide range of riders.

The fuel consumption rate is 34.6km/L for the CL250 and 34.0km/L for the CL250 E-Clutch in WMTC mode. Combined with the 12L fuel tank, they ensure a sufficient cruising range.

Suspension and braking system

The suspension is a well-established system, with a telescopic type in the front and a swing arm type in the rear.

The brake system employs hydraulic discs on both the front and rear, providing reliable stopping power. The tire sizes are 110/80R19 in the front and 150/70R17 in the rear.
