Suzuki has announced the 2025 model of its V-Strom 1050 series, a proud adventure tourer. The changes this time are centered around a refreshed exterior, with both models adopting new color variations.
The standard model, the V-Strom 1050, is available in three colors: Oort Gray Metallic No. 3/Matte Black Metallic No. 2, Matte Steel Green Metallic/Matte Black Metallic No. 2, and Glass Sparkle Black/Matte Black Metallic No. 2.
On the other hand, the V-Strom 1050DE, which has improved off-road performance, is available in two colors: Champion Yellow No. 2/Glass Sparkle Black and Pearl Tech White/Glass Sparkle Black.
At the heart of both models is a 1,036cc V-twin DOHC engine that delivers powerful torque at low and mid-speed ranges and smooth power output at high speeds, making it easy to handle when touring.
The SIRS electronic control system provides the latest safety and convenience features, including an IMU-based motion track brake system, a two-way quick shift system, and cruise control. The 5-inch color TFT LCD meter makes it easy to check and change various settings.
The DE model in particular is equipped with traction control with G-mode, a 21-inch front wheel, and semi-block pattern tires to enhance off-road performance. Furthermore, the handlebars are 20mm wider for improved maneuverability, and an aluminum engine protector ensures practicality, making it ideal for serious adventure riding.
In addition, this model change also includes support for the catalyst deterioration monitoring function of the on-board diagnostic equipment (OBDII).
The distinctive beak design inherited from the DR-BIG, Suzuki’s identity, is still alive and well. With a modern interpretation, it asserts its presence as a powerful adventure tourer.
