MV Agusta, founded in Lombardy, Italy in 1945, will celebrate its 80th anniversary in 2025. The company began racing in 1948, shortly after its founding, and won numerous titles in the World Road Racing Championship (WPG) from the 1950s through the 1970s. However, in 1976, the company announced that it would focus its business on aircraft, and the following year, in 1977, it completely withdrew from motorcycle production. Twenty years later, in 1997, it was revived as a high-performance sports model brand.

As a tribute to MV Agusta’s 80-year history, the historic logo has been redesigned and a new logo has been adopted for the 80th anniversary model “Ottantesimo Collection.” The new logo strengthens the connection to the Italian company’s heritage and emphasizes the meaning of the anniversary celebration. Six models from the commemorative Ottantesimo Collection were unveiled at EICMA 2024, the International Motorcycle Exhibition held in Milan, Italy. All will be sold as limited edition models of only 500 units, each with a certificate of authenticity.
