Kaedia was one of the most popular parts and supplies booths.
The 52nd Tokyo Motorcycle Show, held from Friday, March 28th to Sunday, March 30th, 2025, was held at the same Tokyo Big Sight venue as last year, but moved from West Halls 1-4 to East Halls 1-3 and 8. A record 180 motorcycle and parts manufacturers exhibited, and a record 118,812 people visited over the three days.
Among the exhibitors, the booths of parts and accessory manufacturers attracted a lot of attention, with each booth displaying prototypes of products intended for commercial sale and new products that had just been released, and some manufacturers even offering special prices exclusive to the venue, attracting many visitors every day. Among these parts and accessory manufacturers, one that proved particularly popular was Kaedear, a company familiar to riders for its smartphone holders, USB power supplies, and riding gear.

In addition to exhibiting new products, the company also invited special guests such as Ken Ishizuka, a racer in the FIM World Endurance Road Race, as well as comedians Masaki Sada and Dongebaby Takei from Bad Boys, bike influencer Foie Gras (hereafter referred to as Foie Gras) who loves bikes, and Benzoo, a bike expert, to hold talk sessions, autograph sessions, and a performance demonstrating the strength of Caedia’s chain locks. The program was packed with entertainment for visitors to the booth.
Three Caedia products recommended by a former motorcycle shop YouTuber
Of all the special guests, Foie Gras is probably the most familiar to motorcycle enthusiasts who watch YouTube. A popular YouTuber with over 130,000 subscribers, he has gained popularity for his easy-to-understand explanatory videos from the perspective of a former motorcycle shop owner.

The YouTube channel “Motorcycle-loving Foie Gras” is run by Foie Gras, a former motorcycle shop owner with experience in both maintenance and sales at both a privately owned and multi-store motorcycle shop. His world-class explanatory videos, written from the perspective of a former motorcycle shop owner, have become popular, with over 142,000 subscribers (as of April 1, 2025).
This will be Foie Gras’ third consecutive year as a guest at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show, and when his collaborative gloves with Caedia were released in 2023, 1,000 units were sold in just 12 hours on the major online retailer Amazon. It was a huge hit, with over 10,000 units sold in just a year after its release. This led to a rise in attention for Foie Gras’ motorcycle accessories brand, Foie Gear.

Foie Gras also participated in the talk session held at the Caedia booth, being invited as a special guest for the third year in a row.
This time, we asked Foie Gras to name three Caedia products that he recommends.
Smart Display KDR-D11
A motorcycle smart display is a display that can be connected to a smartphone to use car navigation, phone calls, music, and more. By linking it to an intercom, you can check phone calls, messages, emails, news, weather, and more. It is resistant to the vibrations, rain, and heat of the motorcycle, and since there is no need to mount your smartphone on the motorcycle, there is no need to worry about your smartphone breaking down, making it a convenient item that shortens the time it takes to get ready to leave.

Kaedia’s KDR-D11 is a simple smart display that specializes in display functions. Despite its compact 4.5-inch monitor, it’s easy to see even during the day, and its touch panel allows for intuitive operation. It’s virtually identical in performance to the higher-end model, the KDR-D21, except that it lacks the dashcam function and tire pressure sensor.

“Unlike mounting a smartphone on your bike, a smart display won’t break from vibrations, and there’s no need to worry about it falling. What’s more, it’s resistant to overheating, thermal shutdown, and rain. And since it’s designed to be used while wearing gloves, the icons are large and the interface is easy to use. I purchased the KDR-D11 myself, and it’s very easy to install because there are few wires. Although it’s an entry-level model without dashcam functionality, I think the price of under 30,000 yen is reasonable. I would recommend it to people like me who already have a dashcam installed in their car, and to people who have been hesitant to purchase a smart display, as it’s a technically compatible product in terms of price.” (Foie Gras)

The KDR-D11 is on display at the Kaedia booth. The higher-end model, the KDR-D21, which comes with features such as a dashcam and tire pressure sensor, has a list price of 49,880 yen (tax included). With fewer features, the price is cheaper at 22,380 yen.
SP-GUARD type pad chain KDR-LK2S
This chain lock boasts a high surface hardness that is focused on resisting silent attacks such as hydraulic cutters, using a special alloy chain that has been hardened using proprietary technology. The pure copper cylinder, which uses an ultra-thin 0.6mm keyhole, S-shaped anti-pick technology, and an anti-drill plate, is precisely machined for excellent durability and high security.

Motorcycle locks used outdoors can sometimes get dirty with dust and other debris getting into the keyhole, making it impossible to unlock the lock. However, this product is designed to prevent such problems by using a dustproof shutter and a high-quality cylinder (regular use of a key-specific lubricant is required).

The SP-GUARD type pad chain KDR-LK2S is a product that emphasizes surface hardness over chain thickness. It focuses on resisting silent attacks such as hydraulic cutters and is priced low.
The chain is also covered with a thick EVA sleeve to prevent damage to the wheel when locked. Additionally, the design includes a security warning message that warns that touching the bike will activate the immobilizer and sound an alarm, minimizing theft. Five sizes are available, ranging from 1000mm to 3000mm.

The KDR-LK2S is on display at the Kaedia booth. Five sizes are available, ranging from 1000mm to 3000mm, to accommodate users’ storage environments. At the 52nd Tokyo Motorcycle Show, Benzoo, a bike expert, demonstrated the strength of the chain lock, demonstrating its superior strength.
“As advertised on the Kaedia website, chain locks are no match for tools like sanders used by professional thieves, but the SP-GUARD series KDR-LK2S provides excellent security against hydraulic cutters. I actually purchased this product with my own money for a YouTube project and tried to cut it with bolt cutters, but it was no use. The only weakness of this product is that the exposed surface of the chain is a little prone to rust, but this does not affect its strength. I think that using the KDR-LK2S in conjunction with a bar lock or disc lock will create a situation where you have to have multiple tools on hand, which is an effective way to prevent motorcycle theft.” (Foie Gras)
Foie Gras Supervised Glove Series
“Foie Gras Gloves to Improve Your Motorcycle Riding Skills,” which went on sale in 2023, are spring and autumn gloves supervised by popular YouTuber Foie Gras, designed to improve riding skills by providing “operability similar to that of bare hands” and “safety for riding with confidence.”

The gloves are made with high-quality Pakistani goat leather that becomes more comfortable the more you use it, achieving high durability and stretch for a secure fit. While the palm of the glove is made of thinner leather, it offers reinforced protection for areas that come into contact with the hand in the event of a fall, a protector on the back of the hand, and a design that is slightly raised so as not to interfere with the levers, achieving both excellent operability and safety. Of course, they are also touchscreen compatible. The wrist features a logo that makes it immediately clear that the glove is a product supervised by Foie Gras (a logo-less version was later released). Moreover, they were launched at a very reasonable price of 5,830 yen.

Due to the huge success of this product, the company subsequently released the “Foie Gras-san Gloves for Better Motorcycle Riding, Summer Edition,” which retained the functionality of gloves while ensuring breathability, and in 2024, the “Foie Gras-san Gloves for Warmth, Made from Natural Leather, Winter Edition,” which offered enhanced cold weather protection, was released.
In fact, I also purchased the “Foie Gras-san Warm Gloves Made of Natural Leather” last fall. I tried them out for a season and found them to be very easy to use as winter gloves, and even in the bitter cold, I was able to ride comfortably without heated grips. One thing that bothered me a little was that when I wore them for a long time, moisture would build up on the inside of my hands, and perhaps because they were so airtight, it was difficult for the moisture to escape.
The only other thing I would have liked is a non-slip feature on the palm side. Well, as long as you remember to put a desiccant inside the gloves after use, there’s no problem, and the non-slip feature is just a “nice to have.” Of course, there are probably better quality gloves out there, but considering the price, I don’t think there’s anything better out there right now. I really like them, so I’m thinking about buying some for summer, but if possible, I wish they’d add a white color to the lineup, which doesn’t retain heat as much, in addition to black and brown.

“Foie Gras-san: Warm gloves made from natural leather.” I bought these myself, and I doubt you’ll find any other winter gloves in this price range that offer such high functionality. They come in three colors: black, brown, and yellow. 6,600 yen (tax included).
“I’ve always wanted to create my ideal gloves, and with the help of Kaedia, I was able to make them a reality. I used high-quality goat leather instead of cheap Chinese leather to achieve the same level of operability as bare hands, and I also used protectors with a floating structure, so these gloves are packed with my attention to detail. At the same time, I kept the price as low as possible so that as many people as possible could get their hands on them. This actually made the president of Kaedia cry a lot… (laughs). These are gloves that I hope will be used by as many people as possible, from beginners to veterans. To keep distribution costs down, they will only be sold on Amazon. Thank you for your support!” (Foie Gras)
New products from Kaedia x Foie Gras are coming soon
Also at this year’s Tokyo Motorcycle Show, Kaedia and Foie Gras’ latest collaborative product was on display: a “year-round jacket” that will be sold under the “FoieGear” brand.

The latest collaboration product between Foie Gras and Kaedia is the “Foie Gras Year-Round Jacket,” which was exhibited at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show.
This product is a riding jacket made of lightweight mesh material with an aluminum inner lining, allowing you to enjoy comfortable riding all year round. Of course, safety is also taken into consideration, and protectors can be installed inside. The price and release date have not yet been decided, but we are looking forward to its release as it is a product that has never been seen before.
The collaboration between Kaedia and Foie Gras is set to continue, with other new product plans also underway. Announcements of new products will likely be introduced early on the YouTube show “Motorcycle-loving Foie Gras,” so if you’re interested, be sure to check back regularly.

The logo of Foie Gras’ brand, “FoieGear,” is featured on the right chest of the jacket.
