Honda Genuine Accessories will be releasing the “Honda x Kuromi” Tank Side Panel exclusively for the Monkey 125 for a limited time. This dress-up part was created in collaboration with Sanrio for the Monkey 125, a simple, compact, and adorable 50cc leisure bike.
The tank side panels feature a chrome design incorporating Honda’s corporate color, red. The decals are attached to both the left and right sides of the standard fuel tank, and each side has a different design, allowing you to enjoy two cute illustrations. The cuteness of the chrome makes it a dress-up accessory that further enhances the cuteness of the Monkey 125.
Environmentally friendly with the use of plant-derived material “DURABIO”
The tank side panels are made of plant-derived bio-engineering plastic “DURABIO” (a registered trademark of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation), which contributes to reducing CO2 emissions. DURABIO has a high surface hardness and is resistant to yellowing due to light, making it highly scratch-resistant and weather-resistant, and is a proven material used in Honda motorcycle parts.
High-level decoration technology clearly reproduces designs
To apply the design to the tank side panels, in-mold molding technology and gravure printing were used, which are effective for transferring the design to curved panels that match the shape of the fuel tank.The tank side panels are decorated from the back.
This allows colors to be expressed vividly and even subtle shades of gray to be reproduced. Combined with the high transparency that is a characteristic of DURABIO, it makes it possible to clearly express design details.
Can be installed on all models of Monkey 125
The tank side panels can be fitted to the Monkey 125 regardless of model year, and are available at authorized Honda motorcycle dealers. In addition to being introduced on the HondaGO BIKE GEAR website, a Monkey 125 fitted with the tank side panels will be open to the public at and ST TOKYO in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, from Wednesday, October 1st to Wednesday, November 12th. This is an opportunity to see the actual vehicle before considering purchasing it.
Price and Availability
The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is 29,700 yen (including 10% consumption tax, 27,000 yen excluding consumption tax). The price is the manufacturer’s suggested retail price and installation costs will be charged separately. The product is scheduled to be delivered sequentially from March 2026.
