Monitors can be attached to tanks and mirrors
MAXWIN, a car accessories brand developed by Shoten, based in Kishiwada City, Osaka Prefecture, has begun selling additional options and mounting accessories for the M2 series of high-end smart monitors for motorcycles, allowing users to customize their motorcycles in a variety of ways.
The M2 Series is a smart monitor that can be connected wirelessly to a smartphone to operate navigation apps and play music on the display. It also features a “Digital Mirror Mode” that switches to the rear camera image with a single button to check the situation behind, supporting safe driving.
Several new mounting brackets have been added as options. The “M2-KIT10 Reserve Tank” is a type that fastens together with the reserve tank’s cap bolt, and has two ball joints for greater flexibility in installation, allowing for both portrait and landscape orientation of the monitor.
The “M2-KIT09 Side Mirror” is a type that fastens together with the mirror and is compatible with Φ10mm. The “M2-KIT08 Multi-Bar/Handle” can be attached to a multi-bar or mirror pole and is compatible with Φ8 to 16mm.
The “M2-KIT07 Multi-Bar/Handlebar” is compatible with handlebars from 22 to 32 mm in diameter and can be attached to handlebars. The “M2-KIT06 Multi-Bar/Handlebar” can rotate 360 degrees and is compatible with handlebars from 12 to 24 mm in diameter.
The “M2-KIT01A Stem Hole” is a mount bracket that is attached to the stem hole and comes with six types of adapters that are compatible with diameters from 12 to 28 mm.
In addition, options for expanding functionality will be available for users who are already using the entry model (Lite).
The “M2-CAM01/M2-CAM02” are front and rear cameras that, when installed, enable the use of drive recorder and rear monitor functions.
The “M2-TPMS02” is an air pressure sensor that can monitor the air pressure and temperature inside tires, and can be used in multiple units to support three or four-wheel vehicles. The “M2-BSD” is a 77GHz millimeter-wave radar unit that provides safe driving support functions.
In addition, accessories that improve the visibility of the monitor have been added to the lineup.
The “M2-MV01/M2-MV02” and “M2S-MV01/M2S-MV02” are sunshade monitor visors that reduce the difficulty of viewing the screen due to sunlight, while the “M2-FILM/M2S-FILM” is a special film that protects the LCD screen.
