SUNRIN…198,000 yen

Sun Emperor (Ryusho Limited), an electric mobility manufacturer based in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, will begin general sales of its new three-wheeled electric motorcycle “SUNRIN” from June 30, 2025. It will be priced at 198,000 yen (tax included) and will be available in three colors: piano black, pearl white, and navy blue. Sales will be conducted through the Sun Emperor official online store.
A new option for specific small mopeds

The SUNRIN is a vehicle that complies with the new “specified small motorized bicycle” category established by the July 2023 revision of the Road Traffic Act, and can be used by anyone aged 16 or older without a driver’s license. Its three-wheel structure (one front wheel and two rear wheels) provides high stability, and it is equipped with a mode that allows it to be ridden on both sidewalks and roads. It also features an independent suspension on the rear wheel, improving its performance on rough roads.
Practical and safe design

The SUNRIN is equipped with a large-capacity battery with a maximum range of approximately 60km, providing ample performance for everyday travel. The battery is removable, making it easy to charge at home. It is equipped with front and rear disc brakes, providing excellent braking power even in bad weather. Mirrors and a basket are also standard equipment, making it suitable for everyday use such as shopping and commuting.
Suitable for a wide range of users

The SUNRIN is suitable as a means of transportation for students aged 16 and over to commute to school, and for seniors who have surrendered their driver’s licenses. The vehicle weighs only about 33 kg (including battery) and is foldable, making it easy to store and carry. It can withstand a maximum load of 120 kg and is suitable for people over 140 cm tall, making it suitable for a wide range of users.
The SUNRIN has attracted attention, receiving over 34 million yen in support during pre-sales on the crowdfunding site Makuake, with more than 500 units pre-ordered. It is expected to gain support from a wide range of users as a new option for electric mobility.
