Kawasaki Motors Japan will release a new electric three-wheel assisted bicycle, “noslisu,” on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

Electrically assisted bicycle with two front wheels

The Noslis was developed under the concept of “providing a comfortable and easy mobility experience to everyone,” and was born from a venture project within Kawasaki Heavy Industries. The truss frame and three-wheel structure utilize the motorcycle design technology that Kawasaki has cultivated over many years, resulting in an exhilarating ride that makes everyday travel more enjoyable, and a sense of stability that cannot be found in two-wheeled vehicles.

The newly designed frame and semi-up handlebars contribute to a natural riding posture and ease of operation. It is easy for even small-sized riders to straddle the bike, making it a design that can be enjoyed by a wider range of users.

A key feature of the Noslis is that it is equipped with a patented two-wheel steering mechanism on the two front wheels. This allows each of the two front wheels to follow the road surface independently, providing a stable ride. In addition, the two front wheels tilt in unison with the tilt of the vehicle body, providing an exhilarating ride similar to that of a two-wheeled bicycle.

The loading platform is directly connected to the frame, and the handlebars are completely separated from the loading platform, which prevents the handlebars from wobbling even when carrying heavy loads, allowing for stable driving. The vehicle also uses a slim truss frame that is light and functionally beautiful, achieving both high rigidity and flexibility. Combined with the three-wheel structure, all three wheels are equipped with 20-inch tires, which provide stable driving performance even when loaded.

The power unit is made by Panasonic

The electric assist unit uses a center motor manufactured by Panasonic Cycle Tech, providing powerful acceleration and precise control for easy riding. The riding distance per charge is 103.1km in long mode, 58.3km in auto mode, and 54.6km in power mode (JIS D9115 standard riding pattern).

The driving mode can be easily changed from the switch box with LCD panel indicator on the left handlebar. The battery is a 25.2V-16Ah lithium-ion battery that takes 4.5 hours to fully charge from 0% to 100%. It also has an auto-sleep function that automatically turns off the power if no operation is performed for an extended period of time.

The seat height can be adjusted between 745mm and 905mm, making it suitable for shorter riders and those who prioritize ease of reaching the ground. An integrated LED headlight with an auto light function is also installed under the basket, and it automatically turns on when it senses the surrounding brightness, improving convenience. A circle lock is standard on the rear wheel, further enhancing theft prevention.

The key is also used as the battery removal key for added convenience.

The semi-up handlebars allow for a natural riding position with the upper body upright, improving ease of handling in everyday life while providing an even more enjoyable and exhilarating ride.

In addition, a wide range of genuine accessories are available, including a pet carrier bag that allows you to travel with your pet in the front basket, and a basket cover with a cooling function that fits the size of the front basket, to meet the diverse needs of users.

It comes in four colors: Greenish Khaki, Urara Blue, Pearl Bright Yellow, and Solid Pale Ivory.

Nosuris is sure to attract the attention of many people as a new-generation mobility device that supports a free lifestyle and brings joy to travel.
