Features of the 2026 Kawasaki KX250 model
A motocross bike that delivers high-level performance
The 2026 KX250 features an engine with a downdraft intake and a symmetrical intake/exhaust layout. This design improves power feel and controllability at low speeds. The uniaxial primary balancer contributes to smooth power delivery and reduced vibration, making the machine easy for the rider to handle.
The frame provides excellent ground contact, providing nimble handling, straight-line stability, and excellent cornering performance. The aggressive lime green bodywork features an ergonomic, slim design that allows the rider to shift their weight without stress while riding.
Advanced electronic control system comes standard
The KX250 is equipped with power modes, Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), and a launch control system, all of which are selectable via a button, putting advanced technology at your fingertips.
Another noteworthy feature is the adoption of the smartphone app “RIDEOLOGY THE APP KX.” It has an engine setting function that allows you to adjust fuel and ignition timing from your smartphone, allowing you to fine-tune settings to suit the rider’s preferences.
Features of the 2026 Kawasaki KX250X model
KX250-based cross-country racer
The KX250X is a cross-country racer based on the KX250 motocrosser. The engine is equipped with a uniaxial primary balancer and has symmetrical intake and exhaust ports for improved intake and exhaust efficiency. It is designed to deliver strong power from low rpm to the top end.
The frame uses a robust aluminum perimeter inherited from the KX450, and is characterized by its high level of both straight-line stability and agile handling.
Extensive cross-country ski equipment
The KX250X is equipped with electronic devices such as power mode, launch control, and Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC). Like the KX250, it also uses “RIDEOLOGY THE APP KX,” which allows you to adjust engine mapping using your smartphone.
As a cross-country machine, the suspension has been specially set up, and the biggest difference from a motocross bike is that it is fitted with enduro tires on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, and also comes standard with a side stand.
