Indian Motorcycle Announces the Launch of the First6 Sport Chief RT Custom Contest

What is the “First 6” Custom Contest?

Polaris, a Minnesota-based powersports brand based in America, announced the “First 6” customization contest at the Moto Bike Expo in Verona, Italy, featuring the newly announced 2025 Indian Sport Chief RT.

The “First 6” collection of club-style customizations, chosen by public vote, are crafted by select Indian Motorcycle dealers across Europe, showcasing the artistic craftsmanship of Indian dealers.

Inspired by the new Sport Chief RT’s aggressive styling and dynamic riding character, six dealers have transformed the RT’s performance cruiser with unique, innovative designs, beautiful custom finishes, and creative flair.

For custom builder and Indian Motorcycle Design Director Ola Stenegard, “First 6” is a passion project that connects with the factory design team’s key principle: “Custom is the key.”

Stenegard,

Design Director, Indian Motorcycle

“When designing, we always keep customization in mind, ensuring the bikes we create are as accessible as possible. The First 6 is the culmination of that process, and as always, we’re truly amazed by the results, especially considering the incredibly short time it took to create these bikes from the sketches the dealers provided during the selection process.” ”

The paint job level is next-level, and the close-up detail is astounding. You discover something new about each custom build every time you look at it,” Stenegard said.

Each dealer had just six weeks from acquiring their base Sport Chief RT to bringing their completed Club Style custom to the Verona show, proving they can perform admirably under such pressure.

Due to the high level of competition in the First 6 Sport Chief RT Custom Contest, the public vote to select the winner is likely to be close.

Voting will run until Tuesday, February 11, and the winning bike will be announced at the Salon Du2 Roues (Lyon Motor Show), taking place February 13-16 in Lyon, France.
