A new naked model has been released that is generating a lot of excitement in the motorcycle world. It is the Vitpilen 801 announced by Husqvarna. This model combines the roadster style that evolved from the cafe racer with the latest technology, making it a bike that is appealing in a variety of situations, from urban areas to mountain roads.
A powerful 105ps engine and sophisticated design
The new Vitpilen 801 is equipped with a 799cc DOHC parallel twin engine. Despite its lightweight design, weighing just 52kg excluding oil, it produces a maximum power output of 105ps at 9,250rpm and a maximum torque of 87Nm at 8,000rpm. In addition to this excellent performance, it also boasts a long service interval of 15,000km. It is also covered by a “premium manufacturer’s warranty” of up to four years.
The exterior features a distinctive Bi-LED projector lens headlight. It features a floating positioning light ring, giving it a distinctive presence even in the dark. It comes in two color variations, both of which embody Husqvarna’s sophisticated design philosophy.

Equipped with an advanced electronic control system
The Vitpilen 801 is equipped with a full range of electronic rider assists, including three pre-set ride modes (Street, Sport and Rain) plus four more modes, including an optional Dynamic mode, which can be customised to optimise riding performance.
Combined with cornering ABS, cornering traction control, and the optional Easy Shift function, it supports sporty and safe riding in all riding conditions.The ride-by-wire throttle also provides smooth acceleration operation.

Lightweight frame and high-quality suspension
The engine acts as a stressed member of the chrome-molybdenum steel frame, minimizing overall weight while providing agile and stable handling. The suspension is made by WP APEX, with 140mm of front travel and 150mm of rear travel.
The car is fitted with Michelin Road 6 tires, which, combined with 17-inch cast alloy wheels, provide excellent grip. The braking system is made by J.Juan and works in conjunction with Bosch ABS to provide high braking performance. In addition, the Power Assist Slipper Clutch (PASC) maximizes stability during hard braking and traction during sudden acceleration.

The Vitpilen 801 is equipped with a 5-inch TFT display, which has a mineral glass display for anti-reflection and is positioned in front of the handlebars for easy viewing.
Riders can download the Ride Husqvarna Motorcycles app onto their smartphone and connect it to the bike’s connectivity unit, allowing them to control phone calls and music selection. Practical features include a hazard warning system integrated into the handlebar switches.
