Winner R is more than just a name. The “R” stands for Racing, and is designed to symbolize speed and determination. The front face and overall form exude strength, with sharp lines reminiscent of a racing machine. The tail end is slender, emphasizing the sense of unity from the seat to the taillights, and the curves and edges of the side panels visualize the way the light flows when it catches the wind. The LED lights have a compact structure that integrates the headlights and turn signals, and their brightness is enhanced with “crystal light” technology. Both nighttime visibility and styling have been upgraded. Three versions (Thể thao = Sport, Đặc biệt = Special, Tiêu chuẩn = Standard) are available with different color variations and graphics, allowing riders to choose the look that best suits their individual needs.
Improved engine, performance, vibration and quietness
The heart of the new Winner R is a 149.2cc DOHC 4-valve single-cylinder engine. It boasts a maximum output of 11.5 kW at 9,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 13.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The fuel supply employs a PGM-FI (Public GM-FI) system, improving combustion efficiency while also taking fuel economy into consideration. The new piston skirts are molybdenum-coated, and the valve rocker arms incorporate a roller-type structure to reduce mechanical friction and vibration. Special liners are also used in the cylinder sleeves, achieving both engine response and durability. The bike is also equipped with an assist and slipper clutch to prevent rear wheel lock when downshifting. This improves control and provides a sense of stability during sporty riding.
A group of functions that support safety and ease of use
The Winner R has different equipment in multiple versions, but the top-of-the-line models (Sports/Special) are equipped with ABS on the front brake, which increases the safety margin for sudden braking and slippery roads. All versions are equipped with a smart key system, which is designed to simultaneously improve operability before riding and security. The Sports/Special version is equipped with a USB port (Type A, with waterproof cap), enhancing practicality for charging mobile devices on long-distance rides or around town. The chain uses an O-ring specification, which reduces maintenance frequency while maintaining drive efficiency and improving durability.
Specifications that take into consideration ease of handling in the city
It weighs approximately 124 kg. Its dimensions are 2013 mm long, 725 mm wide, and 1075 mm high, with a wheelbase of 1277 mm. The seat height is 795 mm, and ground clearance is 153 mm, relatively low, designed for maneuverability and ease of use around town. The tires, 90/80-17 in the front and 120/70-17 in the rear, provide a good balance of grip and comfort on paved roads. The fuel tank capacity is 4.5 liters, and fuel economy recorded using standardized measurements (UDC method) of 2.59 liters per 100 km, making it a selling point for its high fuel efficiency. The cooling system is water-cooled, and starting is electric only. The lubricating oil capacity is 1.1 liters during an oil change and 1.3 liters for engine disassembly. The compression ratio is 11.3:1. These figures demonstrate that the car was designed with consideration not only for sportiness but also for practicality in everyday use.
