Honda aims to achieve carbon neutrality across all Honda products and corporate activities by 2050, and aims to achieve carbon neutrality for all motorcycle products in the 2040s. To achieve this goal, Honda is focusing on the electrification of motorcycles as a central pillar of its future environmental strategy.
Positioning 2024 as the start of Honda’s global electric motorcycle expansion, Honda has fully entered the electric motorcycle market, launching two new models in Indonesia this year. The ACTIVA e: and QC1 are the 12th and 13th models, respectively, in its “global launch of 30 electric models by 2030,” demonstrating steady progress toward its goal.
Both the ACTIVA e: and QC1 will be produced in India, strengthening Honda’s electric commuter lineup to meet the growing demand for electric mobility in the Indian market. Additionally, Honda Power Pack Energy India Private Limited has launched the Honda e:Swap battery sharing service in
three major Indian cities (Bengaluru, Delhi National Capital Region, and Mumbai *3
), providing customers with a safer mobility experience.
Honda will continue to accelerate its efforts to offer a full lineup of electric motorcycles, including commuter models, and create a diverse range of electric motorcycles to meet the needs of an even greater number of customers.

The ACTIVA e: is a newly developed electric commuter model based on the body and frame of the ACTIVA, Honda’s top-selling motorcycle model in the Indian market, with annual sales of approximately 2.5 million units. It is powered by two Honda Mobile Power Pack e: replaceable batteries with a displacement equivalent to 110cc. While retaining the ACTIVA’s styling
, which has earned it a reputation among Indian users, the ACTIVA e: boasts simple styling that makes it instantly recognizable as an electric motorcycle. The front and rear combination lights and turn signals feature LEDs for a cutting-edge look. The power source is two Honda Mobile Power Pack e: replaceable batteries. Honda’s proprietary wheel-side motor, developed in-house, delivers a rated output of 4.2kW and a maximum output of 6.0kW
. Optimizing the magnetic circuit and structure for high efficiency achieves a cruising range of 102km, sufficient for everyday use .
Customers can choose from three driving modes (STANDARD, SPORT, ECON) to suit various driving situations and preferences, and it also features a reverse mode that is convenient for parking. Honda RoadSync Duo® *6, 7, a proprietary service that allows users to connect
their motorcycle to their smartphone via Bluetooth® *5 for calling, navigation, and other functions, is also available.
The ACTIVA e: is scheduled to go on sale in three major Indian cities (Bengaluru, the National Capital Region of Delhi, and Mumbai) in spring 2025. In these three cities, the Honda e:Swap battery sharing service using the Honda Mobile Power Pack e: will be available, freeing users from the worries of running out of battery power and waiting for charging, enabling a more secure transportation experience.

Honda QC1

Honda QC1
The QC1 is a moped that will be launched exclusively for the Indian market in spring 2025. It is a model that follows the technology, know-how, and reliability of gasoline vehicles that Honda has cultivated to date, and delivers optimal power performance for everyday short-distance travel such as commuting to school, and is the perfect choice for those who prioritize economy.
The vehicle’s power source is a 1.5kWh stationary battery, which uses battery cells that achieve high energy density and a long cycle life. It can be charged at home using a dedicated charger.
A compact in-wheel motor is used in the rear wheel, delivering a rated output of 1.2kW and a maximum output of 1.8kW. The power control unit efficiently controls motor output, achieving a range of 80km per charge . *8 This allows for clean
and quiet driving. The design combines a sense of security and modernity, with the headlights featuring a flush surface design with no irregularities, creating an iconic look. The headlights also feature high-brightness LEDs, contributing to safety during nighttime riding.
The instrument cluster employs a 5-inch LCD meter. In addition to the speedometer, various information, such as the remaining battery level, is displayed simply, enhancing convenience.
Under the seat, there is space to store a helmet and a luggage box for small items. The inside of the front section also comes standard with a front inner rack and a USB Type-C socket for convenient charging of mobile devices. It has functions that are easy to use in everyday life.
