New marking strategy for ICE and electric motorcycles
Honda will continue to use the traditional wing mark for its ICE vehicles, but will unify its electric motorcycles with a new font for “Honda.” The electric-only product mark will begin with “Honda WN7,” and is a design that symbolizes the rollout of electric motorcycles in the global market.
The ICE vehicle FUN products will feature a new product emblem called “Honda Flagship WING,” which will be rolled out to flagship models such as the Gold Wing, CBR, and Rebel.
Design and features of the Honda Flagship WING
The new Honda Flagship WING is attached to both sides of the vehicle and features a simple wing design that combines innovation with compatibility. The color is a monotone of silver and black, which harmonizes with a variety of vehicle colors.
It also uses environmentally friendly sustainable materials, and will be unveiled for the first time at Milan EICMA in 2025 as the “V3R900 E-Compressor Prototype,” which is equipped with a V3 engine with an electronically controlled supercharger. From 2026 onwards, it will be rolled out to each flagship model.

Accelerating global strategy with electric motorcycles
Honda is fully committed to developing electric motorcycles, leveraging its ICE business foundation that has been in existence for over 75 years. The company has positioned 2024 as the first year of its global expansion into electric motorcycles, and will begin by entering the Asian market. Going forward, the company also plans to expand into the European and North American markets.
The product mark for the electric motorcycles uses the same font as Honda’s electric four-wheel products, symbolizing Honda’s commitment to electrification. It will also be used at dealerships and in motorsports activities, providing customers with new value that differs from that of internal combustion engine vehicles.
