“Honda Motorcycle Homecoming Kumamoto 2025” is an event where Honda users can return to the Kumamoto Factory, the main motorcycle production plant, with their beloved motorcycles, to express their gratitude and deepen their bond with the manufacturer. Honda motorcycle users are welcome to participate, as well as those with motorcycles from other manufacturers.
Four-wheeled vehicles are also welcome, and even those without a motorcycle license can enjoy the event. It’s a rare opportunity for a wide range of people to participate, from motorcycle enthusiasts to families.
This year, the event will be held in conjunction with “Enjoy Honda 2025 HSR Kyushu,” which will be held at the adjacent Honda Safety & Riding Plaza Kyushu. This will be a special year where you can enjoy both Homecoming and Enjoy Honda at the same time.
Developer talks about the development of the CB1000F Concept
The highlight of this year’s event is the “CB1000F Concept Special Program.” A special talk show will be held with the developers and ambassadors, where you can hear directly about the development of the CB1000F Concept.
There will also be a demonstration by the designer, and a special exhibition of design sketches and clay models of the CB1000F concept. This is a rare opportunity to see up close the production process of a pre-market concept model.
As a collaboration between old and new CBs, the engine of the “CB750F Daytona Racer,” which won the Daytona 100 Mile Race in the United States in 1982, will be started up. This is a special program where you can experience the powerful engine sound of a racing vehicle.
All previous models of the Gold Wing gathered together to celebrate the 50th anniversary
The “Gold Wing 50th Anniversary Historical Motorcycle Exhibition” will display all of Gold Wing’s historic motorcycles, known as “The King of Motorcycles.” From the GL1000 to the Gold Wing Tour 50th Anniversary, vehicles that tell the story of the brand’s 50-year history will be lined up.
You can experience the evolution of the Gold Wing, which remains a unique long-distance touring bike, through the actual bike. This is an exhibition that Gold Wing fans cannot miss.
Special exhibition of legendary rider Freddie Spencer’s bike
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of his GP500 and GP250 double championship, there will be a special exhibition of the machine of Freddie Spencer, who achieved double championship status in the 1985 Road Racing World Championship.
The two models on display are the NSR500 and RS250RW, both of which are legendary in racing history. This is an extremely rare opportunity to see up close the machines that achieved this feat 40 years ago.
There will also be an exhibit commemorating Honda’s achievement of “cumulative global production of 500 million motorcycles” in May of this year. The commemorative exhibit will tell the story of Honda’s motorcycle business history and achievements.
The highly popular factory tour and katsu curry udon will continue
The “Motorcycle Production Line Tour,” which has been well received by participants at previous Homecomings, will be held again this year. This is a rare opportunity limited to 1,000 people to see the Honda motorcycle manufacturing site.
The company cafeteria’s specialty, “Katsu Curry Udon,” will also continue to be served. Advance reservations are required, and if the dish is sold out, it will not be available on the day, so early reservations are recommended.
Test rides of the electric motorcycles CUV e: and EM1 e: will also be available, providing a rare opportunity to experience Honda’s latest electric motorcycles for yourself.
