Heatstroke prevention wear that doesn’t require power! Special moisture-wicking fabric cools you down with water and wind while riding. Wet Cool Vest [Daytona]
Uses special moisture-absorbing fibers that boast excellent moisturizing properties.
This evaporative wet-cool vest uses water and the wind while riding. Its lightweight and easy-to-move design makes it ideal for riding and outdoor activities. The special moisture-wicking fabric inside boasts excellent moisture-retaining properties, allowing water to soak into the vest, creating a cooling sensation.
To use, simply soak the vest in water. The evaporative cooling effect of the wind while riding will cool your body, enveloping you in a comfortable coolness. No power source or battery is required.
If the cooling effect weakens, you can replenish fluids through the intakes on the chest and back while wearing the Wet Cool Vest. Wearing a cooling inner layer under the vest will provide a high level of cooling effect.
By using a special absorbent fiber with high water retention, the outer layer is less likely to leak even when it absorbs a lot of water, so even if the undershirt gets wet, the summer jacket worn on top will not get wet.

The heatwave season, described as dangerously hot and even disaster-level, has arrived. Temperatures have been hitting 35°C or higher every day, and recently, temperatures exceeding 40°C are not uncommon in some areas. Japanese summers are also characterized by high humidity and muggy conditions. For riders, the heat and humidity can be likened to a harsh, ascetic practice, as they ride in the hot, humid conditions, wearing helmets that turn riders into natural saunas. This article is part of our annual feature, exploring “are there any items that can help riders cope with the heat?” For our third installment of 2024, we introduce a “cooling vest” that cools the upper body simply by wetting it with water. Perhaps using this cooling vest while riding a motorcycle can make even the hottest days a little more comfortable? With great expectations, we set out to test the product on a relentlessly blazing sun in early July, with a clear sky and an outside temperature of 36°C (according to the Japan Meteorological Agency), shivering profusely outdoors in the middle of summer.
