The AEROBLADE series is committed to achieving “quietness” and is meticulously crafted from component configuration to material selection. The shell was developed using an aerodynamic shape created using CFD (three-dimensional computational fluid analysis). Combined with a lightweight body, it reduces stress on the rider during long tours. The latest model of the AEROBLADE, which can be considered a sports touring full-face helmet, is the AEROBLADE-6. While maintaining the excellent shell shape of its predecessor, the AEROBLADE-5, improvements have been made to the shield system, which is the most important part of the helmet. The “UV & IR Cut Shield” made with Teijin Limited’s heat-shielding material remains the same, but the following changes have been made:
– Shield lock with improved operability thanks to a change in button shape
– Adoption of a two-axis ratchet system that reduces operating noise and improves sealing
– Chin strap changed from a ratchet buckle type to a D-ring type
The newly added graphic, “TAMON,” is a flowing, light, and feminine graphic that is reminiscent of the model’s color, “ELFI.” The designer is model and rider Emi Tamon. She is currently active under the title of “model rider,” writing touring articles and columns and hosting events. She is well-known for her friendly Kansai personality and her impressions of machines and items from a female perspective. The lustrous, adult-like, deep colors and patterns, reminiscent of high-end European brand scarves, are the result of a uniquely feminine perspective. It is a piece that will make a unique impact whether you’re in town or on a tour.
A comfortable sports full-face helmet that pursues lightness and design
The AEROBLADE reduces riding stress with its lightweight and improved aerodynamic performance. This lightweight design offers four key benefits:
reduced G-forces on the head during acceleration and deceleration, providing a stable field of vision
; easier head movement from side to side, making safety checks easier
; reduced strain on the neck and shoulders that support the head
; and reduced wind resistance

OGK Kabuto’s proprietary aerodynamic device, the Wake Stabilizer (PAT. NO. 4311691), and a narrow frontal projection area reduce air resistance not only when riding straight ahead but also when encountering crosswinds or checking behind you.
The helmet shell and liner are made of the high-strength composite material “ACT-EVO,” which combines excellent penetration resistance and impact absorption.
Finite element method (FEM) structural analysis was used to optimize the strength of each component, further improving safety and reducing weight.
Three air ventilation mechanisms—front, rear, and chin—exhaust hot air from inside the helmet. The large air inlet near the mouth connects to the air route inside the helmet, preventing fogging on the inside of the shield and glasses, further reducing breathlessness. Additionally, OGK Kabuto’s unique side outlet trim utilizes negative pressure to release heat from inside the cheek pads. Comfort features are further enhanced.
The shield system features a two-axis DAF ratchet and a specially designed DAF-1 shield. The aerodynamically superior 3D DAF-1 shield can be fitted with a pinlock sheet and features a center lock system with a large lever, allowing for secure opening and closing even while wearing gloves. Combined with the newly designed integrated trim rubber, this provides a high level of sealing and quietness. The
removable interior features an under-trim that easily expands, and is made of comfortable COOLMAX fabric. The cheek pads are designed to accommodate glasses comfortably, and the ear pads are designed with a generous ear gap, and removable ear cups are standard equipment. The ear gap can be adjusted as needed.
