A traditional car combines with cutting-edge technology to launch a new chapter

Triumph, a leading British motorcycle brand, has announced the 2026 model of its Bonneville series, a symbol of modern classics, for domestic release. This series, which was born in 1956 to commemorate the land speed record set at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, USA, continues to combine “timeless style” with “solid brand DNA.”
The latest version revamps the entire series, while respecting the classic look, with three pillars: improved performance from the rider’s perspective, the introduction of electronic control technology, and the pursuit of sophisticated comfort.
First, all models come standard with Lean-Sensitive Optimised Cornering ABS and traction control, creating an environment where you can concentrate on driving with peace of mind.
Furthermore, the particularly noteworthy “Scrambler 900” has been revamped to improve driving performance, including a revised chassis structure, the adoption of Showa suspension, radial mount brakes, and the introduction of lightweight aluminum wheel rims. With an eye on both on-road and off-road riding, it has achieved better handling response and a more flexible riding feel than ever before.
The Bonneville Bobber and Bonneville Speedmaster are equipped with a large, powerful 14-liter fuel tank. The Bobber features a wide, well-cushioned floating seat, while the Speedmaster has a wide seat and straight handlebars that are designed with both the rider and pillion in mind, and cruise control is fitted as standard, making them suitable for riders who prioritize long-distance riding and comfort.
In terms of design, even models such as the T100, T120 and T120 Black feature enhanced textures in the finer details, such as the hand-finished paint and coachline details, and the circular graphics on the side panels, highlighting their position at the forefront of the modern classic category.
Additionally, a welcome improvement for the entire series is the realization of a long-term warranty period of 10,000 miles (approximately 16,000 km), which reduces the burden of maintenance and creates an environment in which riders can focus more on the “fun of riding.”
The price range is as follows: Bonneville T100 from 1,359,000 yen (tax included), T120/T120 Black from 1,719,000 yen, Bobber and Speedmaster from 1,999,000 yen, Scrambler 900 from 1,459,000 yen, and Scrambler 1200 XE from 2,199,000 yen.
Sales in Japan are scheduled to begin at authorized dealers from December 2025, marking a new beginning for the Bonneville series, which combines a long-standing style with the latest technology as a next-generation modern classic.

Pioneer has updated its motorcycle-specific navigation app, “MOTTO GO,” with a new “Spot Map Function” that displays tourist destination information on a map, and a “Tag Function” that allows users to manage favorite locations by color. The tag function has been expanded to allow users to classify favorites into five types and register up to 100 items.
